Guest guest Posted October 2, 2005 Report Share Posted October 2, 2005 Dear All, I just read Jagbir's post and something stood out. That truth alone wins is as much as gravity or magnetism. If I speak the truth, it wins everytime. I said in my last post that I have desires as I spoke of before. Seeking the truth, is it not right to have these desires? Yet as I meditate daily the Holy Spirit is fulfilling my desires every day and bringing my spirit closer to God. I think maybe what Jagbir says is that when personal fancies and false conditionings determine our choices then sorrow is assured. Yet i don't believe sorrow and suffering are the same. Sorrow comes from the lower self as does grief, lust, selfish desires, and wants. Violet once told me that God fulfills all our needs but maybe not all our wants.
