Guest guest
Another passage from Bhagavad-Gita chapter 9 The blessed Lord said: 11. The bewildered do not recognize me when I descend in human form. They do not know my transcendent nature as the Lord of all beings. 12. The hopes, work, and knowledge of such misguided souls are all in vain, and their deluded nature attracts them to selfish and destructive ways. 13. great souls seek the shelter of my divine nature. They know me as the inexhaustible orgin of all beings, and serve me with single-minded devotion. 14. Always chanting my glories, endeavoring with great determination, bowing down before me, those great souls perpetually worship me with devotion. 15. Others, pursuing knowledge, worship me as the One, in the many, or in the Cosmic Person. 16. I am the ritual. I am the sacrifice and the sacred gift, I am the healing herb and the holy chant. I am the butter, the fire, and the offering into the fire. 17. I am the father of the universe, mother, support, and grandfather. I am what is to be known, the purifier, and the symbolic Om. I am the Vedic hymns: Rig, Sama, and Yajur. 18. I am goal, sustainer, master, witness, abode, refuge, and most dear friend. I am orgin, dissolution, and foundation, the resting place and eternal seed. 19. O Arjuna, I give heat and rain, and I withold rain. I am immortality, and I am death. Being and nonbeing are in me. All religions worship the same God. Just surrendering to the divine is what is important. Love, Chuck
