Guest guest
Dear All, Thank you Danny for this touching piece of work and photos. It reminded me of my journey from the 'past' to the 'present' and the release of the 'past' to the joy of the present. It is true that before looking within to my Spirit, i became so 'hypnotized' by what was out there, which i later found was an illusion. However, at that time i thought it was the reality, albeit transient. This transient so-called reality only brought me temporary happiness, but no lasting joy. Releasing the past was a step-by-step journey for me, whereby sometimes some things felt like i was dying to release these. i guess it was my lower self who felt it like a death. These 'mini 'deaths' were ideas about who i was in this world as my conditionings had also taught me. They seemed important at the time. However, these conditionings also gave me trouble as well. Keeping up appearances is the way of keeping up the illusions of the lower self. i have been reading Emanuel Swedenborg lately, and he states that when we go to Heaven, we will be seen as we are. No one will be able to be keep up appearances there. On Earth people can appear to be something on the outside and completely different on the inside. In Heaven, our outside will match our inside. We can be in Heaven on Earth now within our Selves. Our inside and outside can be the same. This can happen by becoming who we really are, which is the Spirit. In order to be able to do this, we need to have our Self-Realization/Baptism of the Holy Spirit/Kundalini Awakening (whatever you prefer to call it) through the Holy Spirit, Comforter, which is Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. Then we have the connection to the Divine and can transform ourselves through this Divine Connection to be the same on the inside as on the outside. It is a gradual process of introspection, contemplation and meditation that allows this to happen. Whenever anything comes up at all, we give it to our Spirit, who is like a mirror to show us who we really are. Then our illusions can drop off. Some illusions i found we sometimes want to cling on to, however, our Spirit is our Teacher, and will show us that it does not help us to cling to these illusions. Shri Mataji has taught us many things. She has also pointed to our Spirit as the part in us that will be our Guide Within. My Spirit has taught me that it is best to give up any illusions. When i have done that, the space that the illusions took up, now is replaced by the joy of the reality of the Spirit. It is like a vase that is emptied of the lower self in order to receive the Higher Self. As stated before, our lower self sometimes feels it is painful to give up its long-held views or prize perspectives but when we give them over to the Spirit's Mirror, they show up as 'dross'. Then when we realize that they are not precious at all, but are maya or illusion, we find it much easier to surrender to the Divine. The Divine within fills us up with the real gold, which is the joy, love and truth of the Spirit. It is really like being a child again, except one is an adult. By being a child again, i mean you give up the conditionings and can again experience life with the purity and innocence of a child. That does not mean being childish or naive. In fact children often have an innate wisdom that adults have lost. A child still retains a lot of that spiritual quality because they are relatively newcomers to Earth, which is why they still have Heaven's joy and love of life and people are drawn to them. A person can become their Spirit once again and again experience the purity of Spirit they had when a child and this is the reality of one's true being.
