Guest guest
I am finding by not looking at all, that for me personally, i find it easier to meditate when i am by myself then when i am at a weekly meeting or a puja or what have you in a collective atmosphere. Im not sure why, but lately i find and feel like my attention and my focus (both mentally and otherwise) is alot more inside and on my spirit and on learning to truly build a relationship with the mother inside, then on being a part of a group or learning the external rituals of puja and such. Don't get me wrong, i enjoy the pujas and collective meditation when people work on me and to watch the videos of Shri Mataji etc etc, but i find it super difficult for me to meditate in that situation. I think it feels to public a place for me to be doing something so personal. I kind of feel for me i begin to trivialize it and forget who i am actually connecting with and for what purpose, instead worrying about if people can tell im struggling with my attention, or weather or not they know what im thinking or why this and that is catching or whatever. Its like i find myself placing the purpose of meditating and the mindfulness of what i am actually doing( from raising my kundalini to meditation itself) out of mind, and my focus ends up on the " practice of meditating " in stead of experiencing the experience in a conscious way. I just feel the most content when i am by myself meditating, communicating etc in a private setting. Does this have anything to do with the fact that outside of all these worship rituals which are amazing, in the end it all comes own to the one on one relationship with God. I mean like i read on here: in the end all that is there is you and God; not family, not freinds, not job or boses, not wife or kids, not pujas, or insence or candles or caphor, but you (the spirit) and God. For me there is omething in that information that when contemplated upon, really brings me and how special " sahaja yoga " (as an experience of a personal nature) is; its really a gift. Guest guest
Dear Danny, There are some things I'd like to say about your reply to Kyyan. You have mentioned that it is necessary to go to the collective regularly for progress. I am experiencing severe problems with this because I find the organisation to be involved in lies and coverups. Also, I'm tired of getting told about footsoaking, and hearing twisted versions of what I know to be otherwise. I cannot understand why realised people are knowingly practising deception, whereas even unrealised people can discern the difference between truth and lies. The layers of pretence and dishonesty are repelling. It is true that meditating in the collective is a very powerful experience. However, this cannot be a reason to ignore the wrong things that have been happening in the organisation. If people in the SY organisation had any integrity at all, and were sincere, all these troubling issues would be brought out into the open and faced up to. The fact that this has not been done, and that there is resistance to people voicing honest and sincere opinions, is a mockery to the pursuit of Truth.
