Guest guest
A rather more conventional view is that this heat is caused when an unauthorised, non-realised soul tries to awaken the Kundalini either in himself or in others. This is why all the great teachers of early centuries emphasised the importance of having a guru, eg. (amongst many examples): Kularnava Tantra, XIII.104-110 " There are many gurus, like lamps in house after house, but hard to find, O Devi, is the guru who lights up all like the sun. There are many gurus who are proficient in the Vedas [revealed sacred knowledge] and the Shastras [textbooks], but hard to find, O Devi, is the guru who has attained the supreme Truth. There are many gurus on earth who give what is other than the Self, but hard to find in all the worlds, O Devi, is the guru who reveals the Self. Many are the gurus who rob the disciple of his wealth, but rare is the guru who removes the afflictions of the disciple. He is the [true] guru by whose very contact there flows the supreme Bliss [ananda]. The intelligent man should choose such a one as his guru and none other. " btw, a tantra is a manual for spiritual enlightenment (http://historye.blogspot.com/2005/11/note-on-tantra.html) J --- bibbycine <bibbycine wrote: When people refer to the fact that kundalini " burns, " they're actually referring to the preliminary friction encountered when the body's chi channels first try to open up. Properly speaking, this isn't kundalini at all. Rather, it's really just a manifestation of friction as the chi moves through obstructed chi channels, and the process can be compared to an internal infection. For instance, this is what the Japanese scientist, Hiroshi Motoyama, experienced after several months of pranayama practice that served to " ignite " the kundalini, or " ascending " chi bibby

John..if you believe that kundalini is a monopoly of sahaja yoga, you are wrong..kundalini was able to be raised in masses only with sahaja yoga,yet..the factor of it could be raised in any individual ,,before,, sahaja yoga..be aware of that,ok? That article was from a realized person,by the way..more realized then me...and then you,by the way..the mistake they made?>> they never linked the kundalini with the moral laws..Confucious tried to do that..did not work.Shri Mataji did it.Or she tried again. It will not work unless people meditate, that's it. > A rather more conventional view is that this heat is > caused when an unauthorised, non-realised soul tries > to awaken the Kundalini either in himself or in > others. > This is why all the great teachers of early centuries > emphasised the importance of having a guru, eg. > (amongst many examples): > > Kularnava Tantra, XIII.104-110 > " There are many gurus, like lamps in house after > house, but hard to find, O Devi, is the guru who > lights up all like the sun. > > There are many gurus who are proficient in the Vedas > [revealed sacred knowledge] and the Shastras > [textbooks], but hard to find, O Devi, is the guru who > has attained the supreme Truth. > > There are many gurus on earth who give what is other > than the Self, but hard to find in all the worlds, O > Devi, is the guru who reveals the Self. > > Many are the gurus who rob the disciple of his wealth, > but rare is the guru who removes the afflictions of > the disciple. > > He is the [true] guru by whose very contact there > flows the supreme Bliss [ananda].
