Hi D........, You may fast if you are having problems with health. Sometimes fasting helps clear and clean your body. Other than that i do not see any reason to fast, especially as penance to the gods. Even Shri Krishna told us not to torture the body, and Shri Mataji is also against unnecessary fasting. Do you think the deities are pleased that we fast as a token of our deep respect for them? There are better ways to please them like learning to love others or being humble etc. So do not fast unless you want to give your body a rest from all that eating. It is just like taking a nap. Frequent napping will only bring laziness and an unwelcome habit. Better not nap unless you are really tired. The same goes to fasting - better not fast unless your body really needs it. Hope all this is sufficient. regards, jagbir
Guest guest
After enough time spent living in the modern world. The body can gain a mind of its own. With constant needs and cravings fasting is a great way to get your body back undercontrol. If any one is having problems with bad habits or constant cravings try fasting for a few days. You will be suprised how quickly your body will start respecting your mindjagbir singh <adishakti_org wrote: D..... <d.....>wrote:jai shree mataji,pl tell me why should we do not fasting?d...........Hi D........,You may fast if you are having problems with health.
