Guest guest
Greetings, I have recently become interested in the subject of faith healing? Does anyone have an opinion on this topic? I have studied Chinese medicine and Qigong for some time. Recently, I have realized that these have a spiritual dimension, and I am beginning to believe traditional faith healing is using the same energy, just without accupuncture needles or movement/meditation. Can anyone point me to some good books on religious faith healing? I am particularly interested in comparing faith healing amongst different religions. Thanks for your help. Guest guest
Dear John, According to Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, " Faith Healing " according to the Pentecostal Style, is anything but that. She states that what happens is that these Pentecostal Ministers actually put a " wrong spirit " into a person when they do the " laying on of hands " , which actually can and does result in the " booting out " of the original " wrong spirit " that caused the original `dis-ease', and replacing it with another " wrong spirit " …. often resulting in a different `dis-ease' in the body/mind/spirit of the individual. All true healing comes from " Spiritual Source " ....whether it is seen this way or not....and such healing is always wholistic. It can come from a Healer's Touch, as in the example of Jesus Christ, or it can come from within the person themselves, if they are connected to the Healing Current, called the Living Water/Energy. Jesus always helped the person by forgiving them....giving them confidence....(all Incarnations are filled to overflowing with confidence)....and saying or doing whatever was required for the cure of that person. If you read the stories of the healings that Jesus performed, you will find that different words/requirements were given by Jesus according to each individual's particular need and included all aspects of that person....spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional. If need be, Jesus would also " boot out " a " wrong spirit " , and that person would instantaneously change from being a mentally ill person to having a completely regular temperament....back to their own Selves. Respectful as i am of Doctors....i do not know of any that can cure mental illness in one day. Generally, all that they can do is administer medication to manage or cope with the illness.... and to provide counselling. This has to make Jesus One of the Greatest Healers. In Sahaja Yoga, the Kundalini gives us our connection to the biblical 'Throne of God'....located at the Sahasrara Centre (psychosomatic centre). When this happens, we experience the " Living Water " which Jesus spoke about. This Living Water cleanses us and heals us. Sometimes this cleansing and healing process happens instantaneously....but most often this happens progressively, because of the egoistic and conditioned tendancies of human beings, which tend to block the flow of this Living Water/Energy. However, it is quite common that a person very quickly loses their desire for alcohol, drugs, and other illicit things. The reason for this is that this " Living Water/Energy " creates changes in the body, which ease the cravings. i would encourage you, John, to do some research with Sahaja Yoga Healing Techniques at the Sahaja Yoga Centres. They would be most helpful....i am sure. In Sahaja Yoga Centres....a person can learn to consciously work with the Kundalini energy, thereby strengthening its healing presence and action in their lives. However, for this to work, a person must first have their connection to the " Mains " . This is done through a guided meditation whereby the Living Water, (a.k.a. The Kundalini Energy)....is awakened within a person first. The Kundalini Energy within a person is the same Kundalini Energy (though on a larger scale) that is creating the Crop Circles (a current topic on this forum). Similarly as to how the Kundalini is creating Crop Circles on the Earth, She is also transforming the human genetic structure into a higher spiritual state. Not only is the Kundalini the Intelligent and Living Force within every atom and molecule, but She is also reflected within each human being in the form of their own Spiritual Mother Within, the Adi Shakti. I hope this helps, Violet , " John Foxworthy " <qzxb69> wrote: > > Greetings, > > I have recently become interested in the subject of faith healing? > Does anyone have an opinion on this topic?
