The only way Ajay is to slowly increase the gap in the Silence, and

maintain it. Being detached and not getting your mind agitated will

substantially accelerate progress. However, that is more easily said

than done because the mind replays/reminds us constantly of mundane

things, even conjures imaginary ones. Despite saying so attaining

Nirvacharita for a few minutes is definitely possible after constant

practice i.e., trying to be thoughtlessly aware as often as possible

......... daily and 24/7. You will have to remind yourself to do so at

first but over time it becomes easier. The sure sign of progress will

be thoughts breaking off abruptly in mid-sentence without any

conscious effort. (i assure that you will function normally after

some initial `glitches'. In my case it was/still is occasionally to

repeat important facts.)

But only those who experience the indescribable Bliss can sustain it

longer. It is indeed difficult to attain this Bliss and i have only

done so twice so far, though having been on the periphery a number of

times. It is this Bliss that obliterates all thoughts and

Nirvacharita is reached and sustained much longer. You may never want

to come out of this experience though, being human, sooner or later

the mind begins to worry/is agitated and withdraws involuntarily.

i do believe that the Shakti within can bless you with the Bliss that

sustains Nirvacharita, an unforgettable spiritual experience that

hints of Eternal Joy.

So Ajay either Silence, Bliss or Shakti can lead to Nirvacharita. If

ever you can attain both Silence and Bliss simultaneously you will

reach Nirvacharita instantly. However, if you have Silence, Bliss and

Shakti i assure you will be in Nirvacharita for as long as you

desire. It is my believe that only liberated souls have all three to

sustain Nirvacharita for long periods of times i.e., weeks, months,

years or longer. Maybe the Shakti may help you expereince the

briefest of Nirvacharita if She wants. She may do so without your

asking but i doubt that will happen if you ask. Just don't agitate

your mind and pollute the Lake Of Conciousness within with any desire.

Dear Jagbir Thank you for this explanation which is very helpful. I am a beginner though. I can say that after a long practice I become thoughtless for a couple of minutes but I never felt the bliss. That makes me disheartened sometimes that will I ever recieve shrimataji's love. I always ask form my heart of hearts and try to forgive everyone. I don't feel guilty as well. I will continue meditating on her but I will be grateful if you can advice me on this. Dear Anil,

By " twice " i meant that the Bliss was experienced for a sustained

period while meditating way back in 1994. Before starting meditation

i was slightly slouched on the chair but the Kundalini literally

straightened me. This was like a whiplash and my back became erect

and straight, an involuntary act over which i had no control.

Then the Bliss came, slowly but surely in ever-increasing waves of

intensity. i could feel the top of my Sahasrara opening and a

powerful force flowing out so profusely that i felt being almost

lifted from the chair by my head i.e., a sort of powerful vacuum

sucking the top of my head and pulling it upwards.

But the Bliss just kept increasing and i was intoxicated by the

profusion of vibrations. The pleasure is indescribable and beyond any

recreational drug or party drink i have taken. It is even better than

the sexual act, like a sustained never-ending orgasm.

After some time i began to wonder how long should i remain so because i

had to catch a flight back to Montreal (from Malaysia) and guests

were waiting for dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Slowly i came out of the Bliss but the intoxication continued and

lasted for hours. i was literally drunk with vibrations and unable to

properly engage my friends at the dinner table. It was the best high

in my life and i can honestly say that i have experienced almost all

the different highs of drugs, alcohol and one-night stands. So I know

what i am talking about and the Bliss beats all in every way

imaginable. And i believe this was just a mild dose of Bliss.

So finally we left for the airport where the flight was delayed. The

whole entourage of family, friends and well-wishers came back home as

the airport was only a few miles away. i immediately went back to

meditate as i wanted to continue experiencing the intoxicating

pleasure that was beyond all pleasures. Again i had the same

experience for the second time. Till date it has not happened again.

By periphery i mean almost experiencing the same Bliss for a

sustained time. However, this bliss (not Bliss) lasts only for a few

minutes and wears off rather quickly, about half an hour or less.

i know if i do experience the Bliss that Shri Mataji/holy scriptures

talk about i will not function properly for hours i.e., the

intoxication leaves you suspended in a state of so much pleasure that

you do not wish to return to normalcy. That has not happened but hope

one day i will attain the 1994 Bliss.

warmest regards,

something form his own............what he experienced " 'TWICE'' and

what is meant by ''PERIPHERY''.......also ,,,how one can know one is

in bliss or one is on periphery. I know its difficult to elaborate

such things in words, but if Jagbir can and tries for that I hope so

many new seekers and struggling seekers (like me) may be benefitted

through that.

Dear Jagbir,

Thanks for reply.

I do attain nirvacharita sometime ...but for seconds

only...then my mind is again diverted to other worldly

matters...

even when i get cool breeze in my hands....i m not in

nirvacharita...infact...i m " consicously aware " of

that coolness feeling and hence i am not able to

sustain the feeling for longer period......... Is

there any method that i can medidate and do not divert

my attention to hands ( while cool breeze flows)...or

something else ........music is one option....but

still dont know whether it will be worth?

Thanks

Ajay
