Guest guest
Jai Shri Mataji! Dear Brothers and Sisters, Over the past six months I have read countless arguments about having or having not footsaoking on a daily basis. Unfortunately there are those who are totally against it calling it ritual, and those who claim it to be miraculous. HH Shri Mataji has stressed the importance of footsoaking more than once, but indeen never for a lifetime. She has said that it is important to footsoak everyday, action that will result in 80% negativity/problems reducing. Yes but She has also said that we sould NEVER do ANYTHING ritualistingly. We must understand why footsoaking helps us, and how. Otherwise we just perform a ritual that someone has told us to... As I see it, footsoaking is used to absorb negativity through our feet. The salt represents the earth and the water the sea. When we meditate our negativity travels through the body into the water, and there it stays. Now, given that all our problems stem from negativities in our subtle system, letting it go away will help us solve them. For example, usually when I sit for meditation, it takes me some time to get into thoughtless awareness. Once I footsoaked and this state rushed in imediately and I stayed thoughtless for a good ten minutes. Next day when I footsoaked again, I realidsed that this didn't happen and I wondered why. I realised that the second time, I footsoaked without realising it, just because the previous night I saw results. Thus, I turned it into a ritual. Hopefully, one day all of us will no longer need footsoaking or any other treatment, but for a newcomer, that face problems and have less-than-perfect chakras is important to KNOW how to USE the techniques, not just perform them. My opinion is that those who consider themselves perfect and that do not need any kind of treatment should not try to prevent others from using them... Mother has once said that treatments are for a new Sahaja Yogi what the milk is for a baby. They are very important but someday the baby is expected to grow up and no longer need milk!
