Guest guest
Hello, I have been reading about yoga recently. I am a devotee of Qigong and Taoism. Is the kundalini that is discussed in yoga supposed to be analagous to chi (Taoism)? Curious. Regards, JF. www.garbageprophecy.org A dialogue with God. Guest guest
Dear John, It is nice to hear from you again, John. This is a guess, and i am not 100% sure, but i think " chi " is like the energy in our subtle system. And i believe that " Tao " is like the Kundalini Energy Herself. If anyone can explain this better, i would appreciate that too. Here are some words on Tao which i think make it quite clear that She is the Kundalini, the Divine Mother Within and Without:- http://www.tao-mother.org/ warm regards, violet , " John Foxworthy " <qzxb69 wrote: > > Hello, > > I have been reading about yoga recently. Guest guest
Hi John, Check the archives: http://www.adishakti.org/forum/archives.htm and you can read this post: At deepest level Tai Chi is a spiritual practice to achieve oneness At its deepest level, Tai Chi is a spiritual practice, the goal of which is to achieve oneness with the Tao. Although practitioners may look as though they are carefully controlling their actions, the aim is to be so relaxed as to have the movements flow effortlessly through the body. In this way, practitioners can achieve the Taoist goal of spontaneous action known as 'wu wei'. http://www.adishakti.org/forum/at_its_deepest_level_tai_chi_is_a_spir itual_practice_to_achieve_oneness_with_tao%20_11-05-2005.htm , " Violet " <violet.tubb wrote: > > Dear John, > > It is nice to hear from you again, John.
