Gnosis (Knowing) and not mere beliefs will unite people spiritually...

Dear Jagbir and All,

 

After doing some research to try and arrive at the essence of the original

teachings of all the Incarnations and Prophets, i have found this to be a

mammoth task, as mostly what comes up is the creeds of not only each spiritual

tradition, but also the many creeds of the different sects within each

spiritual/religious tradition. It is not easy for me (coming from the Christian

background) to actually go deeply into other spiritual traditions so for now at

least, i have basically abandoned the idea to do so.

 

The thing in regards to `credo' ('i believe') or creeds as they are commonly

known, is that a person can believe them all that they want, but that does not

necessarily make them the " Absolute Truth " . In the same way that people used to

believe that the world was flat, and they USED TO really believe that, the

'belief' itself does not make it into the Absolute Truth. Today, we KNOW that

the Earth is not flat.

 

The same goes for these creeds. For a start, they even disagree with their

`brother-and-sister-creeds' from the same spiritual tradition or religion, so

how can they possibly be Absolute Truth, if they even disagree with each other.

It just does not add up! Absolute Truth stands, while all that is not Absolute

Truth, will fall off wherever it stands like `water off a duck's back'. And that

is how a person will know, what is relative truth, and what is Absolute Truth.

 

Absolute Truth will also stand up to the scrutiny of a scientist, you could say.

In other words, no discoveries of science, biology, astronomy, archaeology,

physics, chemistry, etc. can discount the Absolute Truth. On the contrary, all

sciences will actually confirm and augment what is the Absolute Truth.

 

If the creeds, dogmas, and doctrines of the various spiritual traditions and

religions are threatened by new discoveries of science in the fields of biology,

astronomy, archaeology, physics, chemistry, etc. ….then that is a result of

their coming to conclusions and making up a belief system that was not based

upon the Absolute Truth in the first place, so they just have to face up to that

and deal with that, because our Ship of Earth is entering the Age of Truth, the

Satya Yuga. It is no use to hide anything, anymore. It will be exposed. Better

to come clean, admit previous mistakes, and start afresh.

 

Shri Mataji has told us to hold things up in the Light of the Truth, and in the

Light of the Truth of the Essence of the Teachings of all the Incarnations and

Prophets, who all agree with each other. (That point is important. Their

teachings are a baseline, against which you can virtually know `what is' or

`what is not' Truth, especially if someone tells you something for which you

have nothing to guide you on except to turn to these traditional spiritual

teachings or scriptures. That is why it is important to read and study and

understand the scriptures of every Incarnation and Prophet, if possible.

 

That is why we know, for example… that the Will of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi can

never be taken over. Her Power is too immense for it to be taken over, in any

case. When someone takes over the will of another person, it is called

domination. When the person succumbs to the dominating person, they can

eventually be possessed by that person, if they allow it. However, no human

being could ever do that to an Incarnation.

 

In regards to spiritual truth, especially, Shri Mataji told us that we

must `test everything like a scientist.' There are many `truth

pedlars' around these days in the `supermarkets of spiritual truth'.

However... the " Absolute Truth " … Shri Mataji has explained is really a

gnostic truth. It is a knowledge of the Truth that comes from within.

The word " gnostic " means nothing more fancy, than " knower " . A gnostic

is a `knower of the Truth! " That is all.

 

However, in the annals of religious domination, gnostics/knowers... have always

been demonized, and their knowledge has been traditionally suppressed. They have

even been physically burnt at the stake. This is the nature of domination, where

the priests and elders and their followers could not tolerate that human beings

could experience the Truth within themselves. The priests, elders and followers

always wanted to be intermediators between man and his or her God. There was,

and is, always some material gain for them in terms of prestige, money, and

power.

 

The " Absolute Truth " … Shri Mataji states, can be `felt on one's fingertips' as

the Cool Breeze of the Holy Spirit/Shekinah/Ruh/Great Mother/Maitreya/Aykee

Mayee. Shri Jesus described the Gnostic/Knowing Experience when He said: -

 

" He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, `From his innermost being shall

flow rivers of living water.' " (John 7:38). It is a gnostic (inner) experience.

Mohammed Sahib said " Your hands will speak " . This also refers to the energy of

the `flow of the rivers of living water' that flow from the innermost being of

man.

 

`Folks'... 'it is a gnostic/knowing experience, and that is the basis of it

all'.

 

We all have to come to know this " gnosis " or " knowledge within " . We are meant to

know it. We are meant to have our self-realization/enlightenment. Once we have

that, we are in connection with the Spirit, and our Spirit will teach us the

inner spiritual knowledge. It will flow like the `living water' that Shri Jesus

spoke about. This 'living water' is actually the `living energy of the

universe'. It is a living energy that gives you wisdom, knowledge, and

understanding from within. It is your conscience, that Higher Voice of the

Spirit within you, with whom your Lower Self argues, before you realize that it

is best to listen to your Higher Self, or Spirit.

 

So... that is why the Incarnations and Prophets come from Time to Time. They

come to give us spiritual guidance that we can follow to achieve our salvation,

spiritual liberation, or moksha (whatever you want to call it, it is the same

experience, anyway).

 

Here is perhaps one of the best instructive teachings of Shri Jesus, which will

guide a person to have the gnostic experience. These Words of Jesus are the ones

I followed, and I have found what I have been looking for... So it does work to

follow the instructions of the Incarnation and Prophets: -

 

" Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it

shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds,

and to him who knocks it shall be opened. "

(Matthew 7:7-8)

 

Jesus said that if you `ask'... you will receive, if you `seek'... you will

find, if you `knock'... the door WILL be opened to you. However, a person who

does not ask, who does not seek, and who does not knock... that door of " gnosis "

will not open to them. And no external religious order can give that " gnosis " to

anyone, either. Gnosticism purely means to `go within'. It is not paganism, or

anything like that. Shri Jesus was gnostic in practical terms; He was not a

Christian.

 

Therefore, like Shri Mataji has told us, it is the Spirit within that will unite

all peoples from the various spiritual traditions, and they will imbibe that

Spirit within in the Satya Yuga, that She has given…. as the Christian

" Comforter " , the Muslim " Ruh of Allah " , the Hindu " Adi Shakti " , the Buddhist

" Maitreya " , the Sikh " Eykaa Mayee " , the Jewish " Shekinah " , and the Taoist's

" Great Mother " . She states that the varieties of spiritual traditions will

continue, but they will be rejuvenated and revolutionized from within their

collective being.

 

I have therefore come to the conclusion, that it can only be " inner spiritual

knowing " or " gnosticism " that can unite us all. In other words, it can only be

the " Absolute Truth of the Spirit Within " that can unite us all, regardless of

which spiritual tradition we choose to follow, or even if we choose to follow

them all, or even none of them, but just go into that `temple within not made

with human hands', as Jesus referred to it.
