Guest guest
Dear All, Thank you Jagbir for your beautifully brilliant description of how to grow the Spiritual Garden of Shri Mataji. It is true that we need fertile minds that are free of fear and domination to populate this Spiritual Garden... so that the Seekers of the Truth can come and eat from all the Spiritual Fruits of Knowledge that Shri Mataji has given. A Spiritual Garden will definitely be the best place to " give vital information about the various species of exotic plants, shrubs and flowers so that visitors will be enlightened beyond all they have known so far " . 'That said'... i see another 'bit of landscape' which is also needed to 'help flesh out' the backbone of Shri Mataji's Spiritual Garden. It is a bit of landscaping which could be Part B to Part A's: " What Shri Mataji said about.......... " . Alternatively, this bit of landscape can also be used on its own. It will just depend upon where this 'landscaping' is actually needed. This landscaping is just another question we often ask ourselves and others too. It is: " What did Shri Mataji mean when She said that..........? " This question is naturally one that Seekers of the Truth ask. The reason " we seekers of the Truth " ask any question of ourselves and others... is to learn more. It is as simple as that. Therefore, we can learn from each other, because often one person discerns something and another person discerns something more from the same passage of Scripture. This only enriches us all, and helps us to grow in the knowledge of the Lord. We can share our Spiritual Fruits of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding which have come to us through the " Pure Knowledge of the Spirit " (Gnosis). This will help us to collectively come to a greater understanding of the " Seeds of Truth " that Shri Mataji has given. This reminds me that Apostle Paul separated the " fruits " from the " gifts " of the Spirit. Apostle Paul said that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control... but he makes no mention of " knowledge, wisdom, and understanding " in the same passage: " But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law. " (Galatians 5:22-23) That Paul separates these does not lead to spiritual integration as we have in Sahaja Yoga (Union with the Divine), but it results in divisiveness. By splitting the " fruit of the Spirit " into the " gifts of the Spirit " ... this has also caused divisiveness between traditional Christians and Pentecostal Christians. Anything that causes " divisiveness " naturally cannot be " of the Spirit! " (/message/6966?unwrap=1 & var=1\ & l=1) In Sahaja Yoga, the unfolding of the Holy Spirit in our lives brings the Spiritual Fruit which is ALL of the spiritual qualities, and this includes knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and all the gifts of the Spirit. However, to have this gnostic knowledge... a person has to " go within " and " go deeper " to the Pure Knowledge of the Spirit. This pure knowledge of the Spirit... is a Gnostic Knowledge. It comes 'compliments of the Spirit within'. It comes through relationship with your Spirit. That is the most important point. Then when you work together with your Spirit... in fact become more and more your Spirit.... then through that endeavour of contemplation, introspection, meditation and the study of the knowledge of all the Holy Scriptures... the gnostic inner knowledge also comes. Another important point is that the knowledge of the Holy Scriptures that Shri Mataji has given us needs to be " mentally understood " before we can practise it from our heart. This is because the " mental knowledge " that Shri Mataji has given us for the last 30 years or more... is like a Guide Book that directs us to the true and right spiritual path. People who do the opposite, and do not follow Her Guidance... are at risk of falling into " blind faith " ... which is believing something... but not knowing " why " you believe it. It is important to know what you believe, and why you believe it. Nothing should ever be accepted " blindly " : " Sahaja Yoga is to be mentally understood and is practised by the heart. For some people it is the other way round. There should be no hypocrisy about the knowledge. If someone in the group finds out or experiences anything subtle, it should be listened to and very much appreciated by the leader and the group. " (First small English book/Chapter 5 - " The Leader in Sahaja Yoga " - by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi) It is also essential for the Seeker of Truth to have a full working knowledge of all that Shri Mataji has taught and said over the last 30 years or so... in order to have a truly wholistic view of all that She taught and said. We need to be aware that Shri Mataji said different and often opposite things for different circumstances, scenarios, and occasions... depending upon the spiritual needs of the individual or group that She was addressing. So... after some 'meandering' in Shri Mataji's Garden of Truth... the real reason for this post was just to say that i will also use the intermittent continuing 'thread' of: " What did Shri Mataji mean when She said that.......?
