Guest guest
Why are Jews at the 'Holocaust denial' conference? Tuesday, 12 December 2006, Why are Jews attending a conference on the Holocaust in Tehran at which star guests include deniers of the genocide? Clue: they also want an end to the Israeli state. A handful of Orthodox Jews have attended Iran's controversial conference questioning the Nazi genocide of the Jews - not because they deny the Holocaust but because they object to using it as justification for the existence of Israel. With their distinctive hats, beards and side locks, these men may, to the untrained eye, look like any other Orthodox believers in Jerusalem or New York. But the Jews who went to Tehran are different. Some of them belong to Neturei Karta (Guardians of the City), a group of a few thousand people which views Zionism - the movement to establish a Jewish national home or state in what was Palestine - as a " poison " threatening " true Jews " . A representative, UK-based Rabbi Aharon Cohen, told the conference he prayed " that the underlying cause of strife and bloodshed in the Middle East, namely the state known as Israel, be totally and peacefully dissolved " . In its place, Rabbi Cohen said, should be " a regime fully in accordance with the aspirations of the Palestinians when Arab and Jew will be able to live peacefully together as they did for centuries " . Neturei Karta believes the very idea of an Israeli state goes against the Jewish religion. The book of Jewish law or Talmud, they say, teaches that believers may not use human force to create a Jewish state before the coming of the Messiah. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/6171503.stm To Moses We did give Nine Clear Signs: As the Children of Israel: when he came to them, Pharaoh said to him: " O Moses! I consider thee, indeed, to have been worked upon by sorcery! Moses said, " Thou knowest well that these things have been sent down by none, But the Lord of the heavens and the earth as eye-opening evidence: And I consider thee indeed, O Pharaoh, to be one doomed to destruction! " So he resolved to remove them from the face of the earth: But We did drown him and all who were with him. And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel, " Dwell securely in the land " : But when the second of the warnings came to pass, We gather you together in a mingled crowd. (2314) surah 17:101-104 Al Isra' (The Night Journey) " 2314. Some commentators understand the second warning to be the Day of Judgment, the Promise of the Hereafter. " Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The Holy Qur'an, p. 703. " And it shall come to pass on that day, that the Lord will set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people, that shall remain from Assyria, and from Egypt and from Pathros and from Kush and from Eklam and from Shinar and from Hamath and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations and will assemble the dispersed of Israel and gather together the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the Earth. " Isaiah 11:11 " There are prophecies which predict the restoration of the Jews to the land of Israel near the end of the age. For close on 2000 years this seemed utterly impossible, and yet we have now seen it fulfilled in our own generation! Ezekiel 36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Jeremiah 30:3 For, lo, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the Lord: and I will cause them to {return to the land} that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. (Here are just a few more of the many references to this fulfilment: Ezekial 37:21; Isaiah 11:11; Jeremiah 29:14). Lila Sarick, The Globe and Mail The search for the lost tribes of Israel, dispersed nearly 3,000 years ago, is a romantic quest that has mesmerized explorers and adventurers for hundreds of years. The stakes are tantalizing. Not only is there the thrill of finding people alive today who are the descendants of those who apparently disappeared without a trace, but according to biblical prophecy, their reappearance signals the approach of a Messianic time. The latest bid to separate the fact from the myth comes from award winning documentary filmmaker Simcha Jacobovici in Quest for the Lost Tribes of Israel.... Citing his journalist's objectivity, Mr. Jacobovici declines to speculate on the biblical prophecy that the discovery of the tribes is the first step toward the end of days. " All I know is, I went out to look for a story and I came home with the goods, " he said. But for believers, the idea " we may be living in times of ultimate reunification of families is mind-blowing in a very positive way, " he said. " The idea that biblical prophecy is unfolding in the nightly news is wow for people. " " The Globe and Mail, Friday, November 20, 1998 ---------------- Dear All, According to biblical prophecy, the reappearance/return of Jews to the promised land signals the approach of a Messianic time. The Messiah Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi appeared after the lost tribes of Israel scattered the world over for millennia started returning to the promised land. Her Divine Message is that the Resurrection and Day of Judgment is taking place, and She bears the Promise of the eternal Hereafter. She has also warned that humanity is nearing the end of the age and must lead a righteous life as the Second Coming will take place. Thus the precise eschatological expectations of Judaism, Christianity and Islam have been collectively fulfilled beyond a shadow of doubt. No religious organization can deny Her, all the more in future as the mounting evidence becomes ever more glaringly apparent. The prophesied Messianic time has arrived. It is a moot point arguing that human force was not to be used to create the Jewish state before the coming of the Messiah. What really matters is that Israel was created decades ago in 1948 and the Messiah has come ....... exactly as the holy scriptures prophesied. Period! regards to all, jagbir
