Dear All,

To even enter the kingdom of heaven, we must become innocent as children, and

with innocence also comes wisdom. Here are some things that Shri Jesus and Shri

Mataji have said regarding children. Please enjoy!

(Disciples ask Shri Jesus re " rank " in the kingdom of heaven)...

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, " Who then is greatest in the

kingdom of heaven? " And He called a child to Himself and set him before them and

said: " Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children,

you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever then humbles himself as this

child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one

such child in My name receives Me. " (Matthew 18:1-6a)

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi's Words on " Children " ...

" For a child, enjoyment is complete. Whatever he sees, he makes a joyful thing

out of it. Look at children. I've seen children, they find anything, they make a

joy out of it. The other day we had gone to Genoa and I saw there were blocks

kept there. Some children came from somewhere. They just climbed on that and

made horses out of them. And they were enjoying them.

You see, they find anything... any space (and) they make a joyful thing from it.

For them, life is also a play. Just a thing of enjoyment. And they make you also

enjoy everything. If you are not in a good mood, they'll come out and behave in

such a manner that you'll have to come round and become a very simple, natural

person.

So to see a simple, natural person, we always say they are like children. It

means they do not understand the cunning. They do not understand the stupidity

of the people, and they live in a world of innocence.

Children are the most interesting things, I think, in the world. For Me, roses

are very beautiful, but children are the most interesting thing, and they teach

you so many things that you are surprised at their innocence. " (Shri Ganesha

Puja - September 2000)

Shri Mataji reveals that Realized children fight against negativity, because

they cannot tolerate it:

" Sahaja Yogi parents have great responsibility towards their realized children.

They have to be protected, disciplined and brought up in (a) proper atmosphere

of love. Realized children cannot tolerate negativity. They fight with it.

(Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi - Advice NY 13)
