Dear Jagbir and All,

Do we know if Shri Mataji Herself ever talked about having a World Council? i

think She might have but i am not sure. It's just that in this passage in Her

first small English book, Shri Mataji says that:

" There is no membership in Sahaja Yoga except that we had to have a nominal

Trust. By that Trust we have to operate for legal affairs, but it has no

permanent list of names of people. There is no dead organisation, but a living

collective single organism. The body has the cells (and) after Self-realisation,

the spirits of the cells are enlightened by Sahaja Yoga. " (Book/first small

English - Chapter 1, Sahaja Yoga)

i looked up the word " nominal " in the dictionary and it gives the meaning of:

" pertaining to, or of the nature of, a name or noun: of names: by name: only in

name: so-called, but not in reality: inconsiderable, hardly more than a matter

of form " .

It seems Shri Mataji was downplaying any kind of official membership

organisational type of thing... and was rather in favour of a " living collective

single organism " . Well, WCASY is certainly not what Shri Mataji describes as

" nominal " . Guido was also against the formation of the World Council, so does

anyone know if Shri Mataji ever spoke about a World Council as such. i think She

might have... or it could have been a propaganda (which i did not know was

propaganda at the time) which made me believe Shri Mataji talked about it, when

She was still talking.

thanks,

violet
