Dear All,

 

Someone once said that, 'in the cosmic meaning of the word, religion is simply

personal service to God and nothing more, for the argumentation (teaching) is

only a means to achieve the personal service'.

 

It does not matter who said it. It is the Truth, isn't it? Isn't the ultimate

purpose of any religion, simply 'personal service to God and nothing more.'?!

 

Ergo, once the personal service to God is achieved, the religion has served its

purpose. It can then be a point or place of local collective human fellowship

with the Divine.... a fellowship that can help others achieve 'personal service

to God' also.
