Living Water

Dear Jagbir,

 

I accept with pleasure your wish for a Silence for the Self, as i have since a

few months the feeling of surfing on a wave turmoil... And i hardly find time

to

introspect as far as i would like to....

 

Since you posted all these (all more interesting that the other) references to

the " Living Water " , i try to remember exactly the circumstances of this

happening.

 

At that time, it was a king of Golden Age in my collective and we were held by

a true desire and love we were sharing. Everyone was anxious to reach a

further state , and meditations were silent, deep, and strong.

 

So it was after a collective meditation, i was walking in the street with a few

fellow yogis, and i felt this rain pouring from my Sahasrara. I had a cool

sensation inside my head but the drops were not cool or cold, they were the

same temperature as my skin, but heavier than water and smoother......

 

i remember also that i couldn't help trying to rub it, because the feeling was

like i was sweating.....

 

But i have never thought that was something special....

 

I hope this description will give you some hope, joy.....

Dear Jagbir, Nicole and All,

 

This is a very interesting subject! The reason i say this is because it is

happening to me too! Only i did not know what it is, and did not really

associate it with Sahasrara, although i have to admit that it did cross my mind

once or twice, that it was from Sahasrara. However, i had never heard of

anything like this happening to Sahaja Yogis, so although my experience was very

pleasant, i put it to the back of my mind as something rather mysterious.

However now with the relating of Shindy's and Nicole's experiences, it all makes

sense as to what it is!!! Not to mention the Opening of the Sahasrara

Experience, that Shri Mataji also told about!!!

 

Christ Jesus talked about this " Water of Life " , but i never expected it to

manifest as an " experience just like the feel of water " !!! Even Shri Mataji

related how She was " drenched " but i took this to mean as being drenched with

spiritual energy, and not so much a physically experienced drenching!!! It is

therefore very interesting, that in regards to the substance being somewhat oily

[perspirative], that it mentions about the " oil of the Holy Spirit " in the

Bible!!!:

 

Here, the Psalmist David talks about the oil that anoints his head:

 

" Thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows. " (Psalms 23:5b)

 

The Psalmist's telling of his " cup overflowing " [with joy] reminds me of Shri

Mataji's expressed desire after Her Sahasrara Experience, that She fill our cups

too!!!:

 

" After coming out of this beautiful experience, I looked around and saw that

human beings were so [spiritually] blind, and I became absolutely silent and

desired that I should get their cups filled with nectar, rather than the stones

that were there! " ((Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi - Sahasrara Day Puja Address - Le

Raincy, France - 5 May 1982)

 

i find it rather interesting that Nicole had her experience, at a time that she

describes as the 'time of the king of the Golden Age' which was when she

experienced this water and oil:

 

" At that time, it was a king of Golden Age in my collective and we were held by

a true desire and love we were sharing. Everyone was anxious to reach a further

state, and meditations were silent, deep, and strong. "

 

Interestingly, there is a correlation to Nicole's description of a 'time of the

king of the Golden Age' when she experienced this living water and living oil,

and the song that David the Psalmist sang about the king who was to be married,

and whom God had anointed with the oil of joy:

 

" Thou has loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; therefore God, Thy God, has

anointed Thee with the oil of joy. " (Psalms 45:7)

 

i also remember Christ Jesus' Parable of the Ten Virgins, in which the foolish

virgins did not have enough oil of the Spirit, in their lamps; the wise ones did

though and therefore were ready for the bridegroom. (ref. Matthew 25)

 

It also says in 1 John 2:20:

 

" But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all KNOW. " (1 John 2:20)

 

[Please note the word " KNOW " , which in this context, has the meaning of

" Gnosis " !!!]

 

Then in 1 John 2:27, it is revealed that the anointing of the Holy Spirit is a

sign of knowing or gnosis. It is also revealed that the person who has the

anointing, does not need anyone to teach them, but that they are taught by the

Holy Spirit!!!:

 

" And as for you, the anointing which you received from Him [Holy Spirit] abides

in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His [Holy Spirit's]

anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just

as it has taught you, you abide in Him [Holy Spirit]. " (1 John 2:27)

 

The anointing of the Holy Spirit is scriptural, and Shindy and Nicole's

experiences have confirmed the scriptures. Their experiences have confirmed what

Christ Jesus talked about as the " Living Water " and what He also talked about as

the " Oil of the Holy Spirit " in His Parable of Ten Virgins!!! [ref. Matthew 25]

It must be then, that the " Living Water " and the " Oil of the Holy Spirit " are

not just metaphors, as i originally thought, but that they refer to literal

elements, that can be experienced as such, if people love righteousness and hate

wickedness:

 

" Thou has loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; therefore God, Thy God, has

anointed Thee with the oil of joy. " (Psalms 45:7)

 

i now realise that i have experienced the " living water " and the " oil of the

Spirit " now too, since i now know, these did not come from external sources.

Just to explain, i have had the experience of individual drops of water dropping

on my face, and sometimes sliding down my face. i recall that once it very

lightly streamed all over my face, as if a very light stream of water was

showering over me. One of my most vivid experiences, really grabbed my

attention, making me very conscious of some very unusual happening. Here is what

happened:

 

" On this particular day, i had recently come out of the shower and had

towel-dried my hair, so it was just moist, but not dripping wet. Then i

experienced this huge big drop of rain go plonk! Right on the very top of my

head!! It felt exactly like when i have gone outside, for example, and felt a

large drop of rain hit me really hard on the head, just before a downpour of

rain!!! i had definitely been hit hard with this drop of rain! So, it really

surprised me! i wondered where it was coming from! i checked for all the

external sources, where this big drop of rain might have hit my head. i was out

of the shower, so there was no way, a drop from the shower head, could have hit

my head! i looked up to the ceiling to see if there was water coming from there,

but the ceiling was intact, and it was not raining outside anyway! i was really

quite puzzled, so you can imagine, it was quite comical, if you had seen me in

my dilemma, of wondering where it came from!!!

 

i then rubbed my head to see if i could feel the huge big drip of water that i

had felt, hitting my head with such force, and what i felt was a sort of light

oily substance, which was rather surprising, since i had just had a shampoo and

hair conditioning, so where did this [prespirative] feel of the light oil come

from???!!!

 

i am quite relieved that i now know where this is coming from, and especially

that it is not coming from some external source!!! Thanks to everyone for

revealing this subject. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi is filling our cups now, just

like She wanted to!!!
