Guest guest
> > The word " comforter " is translated from the word " Paraclete " ( " Ho > Parakletos " in Greek). Parakletos in Greek is interpreted as " an > advocate " , one who pleads the cause of another, one who councils or > advises another from deep concern for the other's welfare (Beacon > Bible commentary volume VII, p.168). In these verses we are told > that after Jesus departs, a Paraclete will one day come, will > glorify Jesus, and will guide mankind into all truth. The main > signs and characteristics of the Comforter are as follows: > > i) The Comforter will abide with the believers forever (John 14:16). > This is only possible if the Comforter remains within each and every > human for the rest of the natural lives and beyond i.e., for all > eternity; > > ii) The Comforter must testify on the behalf of Jesus (John 15:26). > This is only possible if the Comforter is human too i.e., meeting, > speaking, explaining in detail, as well as answering questions, in > languages humans can understand; > > iii) The Comforter must bring all aspects of Jesus teachings to > remembrance (John 14:26). Obviously they must concern unlocking the > deep secrets of Jesus' parables, of which the Kingdom of God within > tops the list; > > iv) The Comforter must reprove the world of sin, and of > righteousness, and of judgment i.e., issue warnings of impending > judgment to a world full of sin and ungodliness (John 16:8); > > v) The Comforter must at all times guide and speak the truth of > events that are coming (John 16:13). Obviously the truth, directed > exclusively to a world of sin and ungodliness, has to be absolutely > unprecedented, radical and explosive; > > vi) The Comforter must glorify Jesus and show/declare all that the > later wants delivered to humanity (John 16:14); > > vii) The Comforter -whom the Father will send in Jesus' name, and > teach all things and remind humanity of everything Jesus has said- > is and will be the Holy Spirit (John 14:26). > “The best one word description of the Holy Ghost is found in Jn.14:16,26,15:26, and 16:7. Here the Savior uses the Greek word " Parakletos " which means advocate, spokesman, intercessor, representative, friend, and comforter. In other words, the function of the Holy Ghost is to be God's representative to us in God's absence (Acts 5:1-4) as well as Christ's (Jn.16:7).... gives us comfort, God's will for our lives, and testifies to us of the truthfulness of the Gospel and to the reality of Christ's atonement for our sins.” None of the above (i-vii) were accomplished until the arrival of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. In the early morning of May 5, 1970 She commenced the task assigned to Her by first opening the Kingdom of God (Sahasrara). Subsequently She spent a lifetime dedicated entirely to reaching out to humanity, glorifying Jesus and guiding mankind into all truth. She is verily the Comforter, the Holy Spirit sent by the Father in Jesus' name. That is why Lord Jesus issued this warning: And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, It shall be forgiven him: But unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven. Luke 12:10 Verily I say unto you, all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, And blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost, hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation. Mark 3:28-29 Wherefore I say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy, shall be forgiven unto men: But the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, It shall be forgiven him: But whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Matthew 12:31-32 " The gravest of all sins is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. One may speak even against Jesus Christ in ignorance and, upon repentance, be forgiven, but knowingly to sin against the Holy Ghost by denying its influence after having received it is unpardonable (Matt. 12:31-32; Jacob 7:19; Alma 39:6), and the consequences are inescapable. Such denial dooms the perpetrator to the hell of the second spiritual death (TPJS, p. 361). This extreme judgment comes because the person sins knowingly against the light, thereby severing himself from the redeeming grace of Christ. " www.mormons.org/ " The sin or blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is mentioned in Matthew 12:22-32; Mark 3:22-30; Luke 12:10 (cf. 11:14-23); and Christ everywhere declares that it shall not be pardoned. In what does it consist? If we examine all the passages alluded to, there can be little doubt as to the reply.... He shows them that it is by " the Spirit of God " that He casts out devils, and then He concludes: " therefore I say to you: Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not he forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come. " So, to sin against the Holy Ghost is to confound Him with the spirit of evil, it is to deny, from pure malice, the Divine character of works manifestly Divine.... But the Fathers of the Church, commenting on the Gospel texts we are treating of, did not confine themselves to the meaning given above. Whether it be that they wished to group together all objectively analogous cases, or whether they hesitated and wavered when confronted with this point of doctrine, which St. Augustine declares (Serm. ii de verbis Domini, c. v) one of the most difficult in Scripture. " www.newadvent.org/ “The Greek word 'blasphemeo' is used in the gospel accounts of Mark and Luke. *The Greek word ‘blasphemia’ is used in the gospel of Matthew. According to the definitions, the word 'blasphemy' means; to injure the work of God's Holy Spirit, by speaking evil of something Holy and pure from God and falsely accusing the work of the Holy Spirit, to be evil or Satanic. Blasphemy then is a sin or crime against God, causing injury to Him or His Spirit by false accusations. The spirit behind these types of accusations is from the accuser himself, the devil, the chief adversary of God.” M. Mary C. Becker, Literal Translation with Strong’s Numbers So be clearly forewarned! This explicit warning is not only for Christians to heed but the rest of humanity as well. It is far better they remain silent as there is absolutely no forgivness for those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit, an unpardonable crime against God Almighty for causing injury to His Spirit by false accusations. Again, be amply forewarned! jagbir
