Dear Jagbir (and All),

i am expanding the HSS (Holy Spirit Shekinah) New Headings with quotes from

other authors also now, which will help to enhance, confirm, create more

interest, and make people more comfortable with the teachings of Shri Mataji

Nirmala Devi and Biblical material. Thanks for bringing this need to my

attention, Jagbir, and suggesting me to buy books from amazon.com which are

really great! i have also browsed second-hand bookshops and found some real gems

there too. All these different sources will enhance what is already there.

As far as logistics in uploading this material, Jagbir, i think it will be

easiest if i just post the whole New Heading 'in toto' so all you have to do is

replace it with the old New Heading. (There may be exceptions, but we will see

how we go.)

Appended is the Whole New Replacement for " Holy Spirit Gives Birth to Creation " .

This also allows me to 'grow the material' as i go along, i.e. to improve it

continuously, as you are also doing, Jagbir.

warmest regards,

violet

Holy Spirit Gives Birth to Creation

All creatures of our God and King

Lift up your voice and with us sing,

Alleluia! Alleluia!

Thou burning sun with golden beam,

Thou silver moon with softer gleam!

Refrain

O praise Him! O praise Him!

Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Thou rushing wind that art so strong

Ye clouds that sail in Heaven along,

O praise Him! Alleluia!

Thou rising moon, in praise rejoice,

Ye lights of evening, find a voice!

Refrain

Thou flowing water, pure and clear,

Make music for thy Lord to hear,

O praise Him! Alleluia!

Thou fire so masterful and bright,

That givest man both warmth and light.

Refrain

Dear mother earth, who day by day

Unfoldest blessings on our way,

O praise Him! Alleluia!

The flowers and fruits that in thee grow,

Let them His glory also show.

Refrain

And all ye men of tender heart,

Forgiving others, take your part,

O sing ye! Alleluia!

Ye who long pain and sorrow bear,

Praise God and on Him cast your care!

Refrain

And thou most kind and gentle Death,

Waiting to hush our latest breath,

O praise Him! Alleluia!

Thou leadest home the child of God,

And Christ our Lord the way hath trod.

Refrain

Let all things their Creator bless,

And worship Him in humbleness,

O praise Him! Alleluia!

Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son,

And praise the Spirit, Three in One!

The spiritual understanding and gender preferences in this material is based

upon the teachings of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, who says that the Holy Spirit is

God the Mother. God the Mother is actually very present in the scriptures, where

She is usually called Holy Spirit or Wisdom. According to Shri Mataji God the

Father is the Witness who watches God the Mother do all the work of Creation.

For example, here is John 1:1-5 written according to Shri Mataji's teachings.

You will clearly see God the Mother in it now]:

" In the beginning was the Word [the Omkara of the Adi Shakti] and the Word was

with God [God the Father] and the Word was God [God the Mother]. She was in the

beginning with God. All things came into being by Her, and apart from Her

nothing came into being that has come into being. In Her was Life and the Life

was the Light of men. And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did

not comprehend it. " (John 1:1-5)

By the Word of the Lord [by the Omkara of the Adi Shakti] the heavens were made

and by the breath of Her mouth, all their Host. (Psalms 33:6)

[shri Mataji explains about the Omkara of the Adi Shakti. While reading these

words of Shri Mataji, please keep in mind that Shri Jesus is an incarnation of

Shri Ganesha]:

" Christians have to rise above this Christianity and have to understand that

it's such a great thing that Christ came on this earth as the incarnation of the

principle of Ganesha. Ganesha becoming Mahavishnu is a very big thing, which one

should try to understand. Ganesha is the Son of Shiva. Shri Ganesha is the first

one who was created before anything, any atmosphere, anything, because He is the

Omkara and the Omkara is the first breaking [away] of Adi Shakti from Shiva,

that sound of Omkara. From there started Omkara and He is the one who is the

embodiment of that Omkara. So the Sound is Shri Ganesh... it is His power that

was created first, as the foremost thing, just to create Holiness. " Pradakshna "

is this holiness that was created. Pradakshna [Holiness] was created and then

everything was created in the Sea of that Holiness. " ((Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

– Christmas Puja, Ganapatipule, India – 25/12/90)

" What if the biblical God is not male? What if the biblical Creator, in the

original language of the Bible, is spoken of as a female Spirit? Genesis 1:1 to

2:3 describes the Creation of the universe by an all-good, all-powerful God. The

Creation – not just of all objects, but also of all ideas – sets the tone for

the entire Bible. All else, all the remainder of the pages that make up the

texts of the Hebrew and Christian holy words are commentaries. Backgrounds and

foregrounds, highlights and dim places, all politics, history, art, relations

between men and women, all stand in relation to the first chapter of Genesis.

Lets look at what the opening lines of the Bible say about the Creator:

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without

form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of

God moved upon the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:1-2)

Spirit of God, in the original Hebrew, is ruah Elohim. Ruah, the word, meaning

" Spirit, " is a feminine noun. Elohim is a grammatical feminine plural form of

God. Nothing is said about a bearded old man in flowing white robes. What is

said is that Spirit, denoted by a feminine word and a feminine plural word, is a

Creator and moves.

As we read the Bible, we should not forget that all life springs from Spirit.

There is no fearsome Father to run from, no overbearing Mother, no absent Parent

to search for. Remind yourself; make a note if you need to; no matter what you

might have heard before, the Creator is not a large man. This reminder will help

clarify the Bible for you. The God of the Bible is described as feminine

Spirit. " (The Feminine Spirit – by Lynne Bundesen)

[in the preface to his book, Rabbi Rami Shapiro states]:

" It is no small thing to note that Wisdom is feminine. The original language of

the texts, both Hebrew and Greek, make this very clear. Hebrew Chochma and Greek

Sophia are both feminine nouns. The authors of the Wisdom books took this gender

specificity seriously and envisioned Wisdom as Mother, God's consort and bride,

the Divine Feminine through which the masculine God fashioned all creation.

Further, they saw in the union of masculine and feminine a powerful analogy for

the greater unity of all in the ineffable Godhead that transcends our

imagination.

To keep the power of their language before us, I refer to Wisdom as She and to

God as He, knowing that it is in the unity of the two that the full Godhead is

manifest. It is important that you do not mistake my use of language for

something it is not. I do not believe that God is literally male or that Chochma

is literally female. We are not dealing with biological facts, but with

theological archetypes residing within each of us. What is needed is a marriage

of the two within the individual.

The unity of these forces creates a new person, the divine anthropos, the fully

integrated human who is called the sage in these Wisdom books. The sage,

regardless of gender, is married to Chochma; he or she is the partner of the

Divine Feminine. " (The Divine Feminine in Biblical Wisdom Literature – by Rabbi

Rami Shapiro)

" And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the

deep and the [Holy] Spirit of God [the Mother] was moving over the surface of

the waters. (Genesis 1:2)

" Thou dost send forth Thy Spirit; they [ " All that is " ] are created and Thou dost

renew the face of the ground. (Psalms 104:30)

Now the Lord is the [Holy] Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is [awakened

within] there is liberty! (2 Corinthians 3:17)

Dear Violet,

i have no problem uploading all that you can muster, even the

editing. It will be best that you post " in toto " .

Quoting various authors is indispensible in promoting Shri Mataji's

message, a process that will also deepen our own knowledge and

comprehension of various religious traditions and their holy

scriptures. i feel very comfortable and confident that we are using

such a sound and wholesome approach, and constantly adding to the

large database that has begun to silence even fanatics. It cannot get

better than that, all the more since time is on our side.

wishing you the best,

jagbir
