Guest guest
Dear All, Thanks to Igor, i have the missing word for the post below. The missing word is " nepotism " . Here is an excerpt of what Igor, a Sahaja Yogi from Russia, wrote me on July 16, 2007, and which i meant to post earlier: Dear Violet, this is Igor from Russia. Having read Shri Mataji's words about Her husband and daughters (post 8038) i listened to audio cassette with that recording. There is one missing word in the text where ... . This word is NEPOTISM. So Shri Mataji said: " Otherwise it will be like nepotism. I don't want that. " (Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi - Medical Conference Lecture - St. Petersburg, Russia - - 20 September, 1995) Best regards. Igor. [so now, we can fill in the missing word to what Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi said]: Question: " What is to be attitude to the members of the family who are not Sahaja Yogis? Shri Mataji: " My family members were not Sahaja Yogis to begin with. My husband used to say, " I know that you are a Saint, but you can not transform others. You are moral, but you can't make others moral. " Now he's changed. He said, " I've seen all this happening, you've made them into angels. I have to be honest that you have done the job. " Even now my daughters, my grandchildren, everyone in my family, husband's family, my mother's family, they believe in Sahaja Yoga. But I would say that I showed all compassion, love and patience. But I would say they are [not] great Sahaja Yogis like Russians, but they will be. Also it's better to keep them out because Sahaja Yogis make such a fuss out of them which will spoil their chances. They should come to Sahaja Yoga like ordinary people. Otherwise it will be like nepotism. I don't want that. " (Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi - Medical Conference Lecture - St. Petersburg, Russia - 20 September, 1995) However, since 1995, what have WCASY done? They have made such a fuss over Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi's family, that it is embarrassing. Shri Mataji said at St. Petersburg, Russia, that Her immediate family were not great Sahaja Yogis like the Russians, but that they will be!!! She said that it was better to keep them out of the organisation of Sahaja Yoga, because Sahaja Yogis will make such a fuss out of them, otherwise, that this will spoil their chances. Shri Mataji said that Her family members should come to Sahaja Yoga, like ordinary people. Otherwise, it will be like nepotism. But do WCASY ever listen to Shri Mataji's advice???!!! Yet again, we see that they have not, but have made so much fuss over Shri Mataji's family members! Well, what Shri Mataji said in Russia, should very clearly tell WCASY that they have done the wrong thing! In Shri Mataji's words, they have now spoiled the chances of Her family! No wonder Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi is now very displeased with WCASY and has turned Her attention away from WCASY!!! with love and concern, violet ---in , " Violet " <violet.tubb wrote: > > Dear All, > > At a Medical Conference in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1995, Shri Mataji was asked what one's attitude should be, if one's members of the family are not Sahaja Yogis. Shri Mataji said that her family members were not Sahaja Yogis, to begin with, but that they believe in Sahaja Yoga now. However, She said they were not great Sahaja Yogis like the Russians, but they will be. But She says it is better to keep them out of Sahaja Yoga [the organisation] because people will make too much fuss of them, and therefore spoil their chances of what Sahaja Yoga is about, which is to become the Spirit, and have one's spiritual liberation. She says that they should come to Sahaja Yoga like ordinary people. If they don't come to Sahaja Yoga like ordinary people, Shri Mataji said: " Otherwise it will be like....; I don't want that. " > > So now that some of Shri Mataji's family have come to the organisation of Sahaja Yoga, and are being so much fussed over, are Sahaja Yogis " spoiling their chances " , like Shri Mataji said would happen. Will practically deifying them, actually spoil their chances for spiritual liberation. Sahaja Yogis have to become aware of what Shri Mataji has said on this subject, and stop deifying people, who should, according to Shri Mataji Herself, come to Sahaja Yoga, for their own good, as " ordinary people " that are not extra-specially " fussed over " than any other Sahaja Yogis are. > > regards to all, > > violet > > > Question: " What is to be attitude to the members of the family who are not Sahaja Yogis? > > Shri Mataji: " My family members were not Sahaja Yogis to begin with.
