Dear All,

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi told Sahaja Yogis at Wimbledon, London in 1986 that

they could form different societies to address all the social problems around

them. These are not societies where you talk of Sahaja Yoga but where you can

live the dharma. When people want to know the secret to your amazing character,

then you can tell them of Sahaja Yoga, not as an external religion, but as the

secret of your inner being.

We can also form other societies, Shri Mataji explains....

" So you come to the point where you need to circulate and articulate in public.

You're not just here for a secluded group of Sahaja Yogis! You're not here just

for that, but you have to articulate and circulate! Now how do we do that:

You have to understand that we have to form other groups or things by which we

can circulate. For example in England we could form some societies which are not

what you would call Sahaja Yoga, but they are different. An example would be to

form a society where we talk about the decadence of this country, how the

decadence has come in, why it is there, why we are spoiling our young children,

why we are behaving like that. Lets start a society under 'such-and-such' a name

which will address the social problems. For example in India lets start a

society which is against the dowry system. So that's how you will circulate, and

later on when they come up to the point where they see your character, then you

can tell them of Sahaja Yoga! The women's lib and all have done it, but you know

very well the nonsense there. But they have formed a society, so they are

circulating.

We have to have wise, sensible people to form a society. So from the Sahaja Yoga

group we have to move to societies where you need not talk about Sahaja Yoga.

You need not tell them there's emancipation. But lets circulate and let them

know about dharma, forming no religion as such. But it's an inner religion that

we have. So just without any religion, you can start it! That is how you meet

the public. There are many many ways you can think of to meet the public! " (Talk

to Sahaja Yogis - Wimbledon, London - 5 March 1986)
