i have realized that Sahaja Yoga is nothing but the advent of the Adi

Shakti (Holy Spirit/Comforter) completing the teachings of Jesus

Christ. The subtle system is the Tree of Life. Self-realization is

being born of the Spirit. The Kingdom of God within is the Sahasrara.

Entering it by the Narrow Gate is entering via the Agnya Chakra. Shri

Kalki is the Second Coming of Christ. The Last Judgment is the grace

period to evolve into the spirit prior to His Coming ... and so forth.

" Now this Kundalini is the power which is placed in the sacrum bone,

nowhere else…. And imagine this bone is called " sacrum " ; sacrum means

sacred. So they knew there was something in it….

This is the primule, is the germinating power within us. Now this

fact has been accepted for thousands of years in India and elsewhere.

For in the Bible also they talk of the Tree of Life. That is the same

as this….

So this is the thing that is being described in our ancient books, in

all the scriptures, even in the Qur'an they are described as Ruh,

R,U,H, Ruh. Ruh means the cold breeze, the cool breeze. The cool

breeze of the Holy Ghost is described in the Bible also.

You cannot suddenly start a new idea about something. If it is an

evolutionary process, if it is a living process it must have its

background, its history, and it must culminate into something

fruitful. Like every fruit has a tree behind it. If it is a living

fruit it has to come out the tree that have existed for thousands and

thousands of years, and out of that this tree has to come. It must

have a base and this is traditionally called the kundalini awakening

process….

Christ has said very clearly that you have to be born again. I mean

the whole message of Christ's life is realization…. when Christ came

on this Earth to show that you have to become the spirit. By His

resurrection He showed that, and this is the message of Christ. "

As Mahdi/Ruh She proclaims the Great News of the Resurrection (surah

As Mai(Mother) Treya(Threefold) She fulfills the prophecy to renew

Buddha's work. " Relying on certain Mahayana Buddhist citations and

quotations ... the fifth Buddha will be Maitreya Buddha. " — the

As the Shakti entrenched in the holy scriptures She grants both

bodily resurrection (kundalni awakening/self-realization/second

birth) and spiritual immortality (moksa/eternal life). The daily

experience of the cool breeze (Ruach/Breath of God/Ruh/Chaitanya)

will assure humans that the promised evolution into the eternal

spirit has begun. We must remain focused on spreading this Great News,

[Okay, i am happy with that. As you say, we need to make the Christians feel

comfortable. We cannot be too 'Hindunized' when presenting the 'Christian

Comforter' to the Christians. i recall Shri Mataji recently telling yogis in the

USA that it is the American yogis, not immigrants, who have to examine and

elucidate why they were attracted to Sahaja Yoga, and why they continue Sahaja

Yoga. Just to remind us, here are some points She made only 5 months ago, on

June 2007!....

[Firstly Point 8]:

8. American yogis (not immigrants) have to examine and elucidate the reasons why

they were attracted to and have continued to remain in SAHAJA YOGA. They should

ask themselves a key question: " What is it about Shri Mataji and SAHAJA YOGA

that makes it so unique and important for me in my life? " They should then try

and reach out to mainstream Americans with the same messages. (Shri Mataji

Nirmala Devi - June 2007)

[Jagbir, i have to say that the reason i stay in Sahaja Yoga, which is my Second

Birth, is because it is my Second Birth of the Spirit. Coming from a Christian

background, and knowing my Bible very deeply, i was waiting for the Christian

Comforter, and found Her in Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi! That is how 'Christian

America' will also become interested in Sahaja Yoga. Shri Mataji was obviously

trying to spur on the yogis to try and remember all that She told about Christ's

Message, not to mention his Message of the Last Judgment and Resurrection, which

message Shri Mataji has come to fulfil! So, by saying yogis have to introspect

and see why they accepted Shri Mataji, that is a key to why Americans will also

accept Shri Mataji. In other words, Her teachings of the Last Judgment and

Resurrection fulfil Christ's teachings!!!]

[Here is Point 9 of what Shri Mataji said]:

9. Ordinary Americans have to see and identify with their 'own kind' in order to

recognize the benefits of SAHAJA YOGA. This will not easily happen if all they

see are Indians propagating SAHAJA YOGA!

[Jagbir, so why do ordinary Americans have to see " and identity " with their " own

kind " ? [rhetorical question]. Because it is a case of how do " ordinary

Americans " adapt to Sahaja Yoga. i can tell you right now, that they are not

going to accept having to wear saris. That is not necessary to have your Second

Birth. A sari, though nice to wear in front of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi at puja,

is nevertheless not a requirement to getting your Second Birth of the Spirit!

What about all the other 'Hindunized ways'? Again, Christians are not going to

accept any photographs of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, because to them, worshipping

the photograph of someone, is idol worship! So how are the Sahaja Yogis going to

get around that problem?! They will have to teach Christians to " Know Yourself " ,

which tip Shri Mataji gave!]

children are very happy and content with a SAHAJA school (and its attendant

culture), the probability of success of their acceptance of Sahaja automatically

indeed be a way to get more children in to understand Sahaja Yoga. However,

Sahaja Yoga will need to be taught in a Christian country now, not in a Hindu

country! We are talking here about " ORDINARY AMERICANS " , as Shri Mataji also

says! The challenge is how to connect Sahaja Yoga to people from a Christian

Country, isn't it?! Won't Sahaja Yogis have to explain about how Christ's

teachings are fulfilled by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi's teachings then? Won't the

Last Judgment and Resurrection Message of Christ, of 'Christian America' have to

come into it?! Is this Shri Mataji's last hope that Sahaja Yogis will give Her

Last Judgment and Resurrection Message, that they will in fact, by being faced

with 'Christian America' have to admit that Shri Mataji's Message is also Christ

Jesus's continued Message?! Is this a very subtle message therefore to Sahaj

In fact, Christians already know all about Christ's Message, so Shri Mataji's

acceptable to them! The Christians won't be frightened of that Message. They

Christ and Sahaja Yoga. So Sahaja Yogis will have to face up to " ordinary

Christian Americans?!

Sahaja Yogis will have to put themselves in 'Christian Shoes', figuratively

speaking, and be sensitive to Christian 'sensibilities' when giving them Sahaja

Yoga. In other words, American Sahaja Yogis, who necessarily have to know about

Christianity, about Christ's Message, have to 'be Christian' when giving " Sahaja

Yoga " . It cannot look like it is a Hindu religion. It cannot look fanatical

either. Sahaja Yogis are Christian! And Jewish, and Sikh, and Buddhist, and

Islam, because Sahaja includes everything and everyone, regardless of cultural

background.

If anyone can do it, American Sahaja Yogis can do it, that is use all their

communicative skills that Shri Krishna bestows on Americans, to give back the

Christian Message In Its Fulness, and show the Christians what they have been

missing in Christianity! Fill in the missing pieces of the puzzle!!!

Btw. if Christians feel that we are presenting them something that is

Hindu-based, they will think it is really for the Hindus, and not for the

Christians. LOL!!! We have to help heal these fragmented religions, these

branches that have broken off from the Tree of Life. The only way we can do that

is speak to them in their own language of Christianity! Emphasis on the subtle

system is very Hindu and mostly not touched on in Christianity at all. However,

once Christians embrace their own 'Christian Comforter's' teachings, they will

be more disposed to learning even the deeper aspects of the subtle system, i

would say. After all, the subtle system is couched in the language of the 'Seven

Churches' in the Bible. Edgar Cayce, the American prophet and seer, also

revealed the same. And 'churches' are really our 'inner temple' and not external

churches, when spoken about in the Bible!]

[Jagbir, you have put it so very brilliantly! It's just fantastic! i had been

looking for the Holy Spirit/Comforter that Christ said would come. So when i

first came to Sahaja Yoga Meditation in a private home, very soon, i asked about

the identity of Shri Mataji, and so forth. i put 2 and 2 together, and realised

that She might be the Christian Comforter, that Christ promised would come. Of

course, my subsequent spiritual experience soon confirmed that. Maybe, unlike a

lot of Sahaja Yogis, i was actually grounded in the Christian scriptures and

knew them backwards and forwards, inside and out. And maybe, unlike many

Christians, i had from my early years, when i first started asking 'what is it

all about?'.... read the Bible very deeply, to really ascertain Christ's

meaning.... not superficially, but very deeply. Through the years, i realised i

needed something more, a really Divine personality in my life, to take me

further, and i knew that would be the Comforter that Christ promised would come!

All i can say, is that my real Life Quest, has been fulfilled.

To think that this is Our Special Collective Lifetime, that we have met the

Incarnation of the Holy Spirit, in person, on Earth, is astounding in itself! It

is a very dear and speechless thing, that cannot be truly fathomed. i am sure we

will contemplate all the aspects far into the future, that are happening in this

lifetime, and will marvel upon it with continued unending Joy!

i think many Sahaja Yogis will perhaps only fathom it, in the future, when they

can see things more clearly. Right now, many are blinded by their narrow focus,

Christianity; it is the fulfilment of Buddhism, of Hinduism, of Islam, of

Sikhism, of Taoism, of the Great White Spirit, of all of them! Sahaja Yoga has

the capability to adapt to every culture and religion under the sun, because it

is just the Truth, the Love, and the Wisdom, that has to be imbibed within the

person, so they can be transformed and become who they really are, which is the

Spirit! Spirit is in every religion and belief! i don't think we, nor Sahaja

Yogis under WCASY even " know " how Her Message is going to explode in the

world-at-large! The Truth remains and will not go down, in fact it will grow

stronger and stronger with Time, and as you say, 'time is on our side'! So Her

Message will eventually break through each and every barrier, like the trickle

of water eventually wears down every 'rock of resistance'!]

Dear Jagbir and All,

Just to add one more thing, regarding taking Sahaja Yoga to " ordinary Americans "

(and as you also have said), " ordinary Americans " are going to have to be taught

what the Narrow Gate (and not the Agnya Chakra) means. Shri Mataji has given

much information about the Narrow Gate!

Sahaja Yogis are going to have to tell " ordinary Americans " what the Kingdom of

God (and not Sahasrara) means, and Shri Mataji has given much information on the

Kingdom of God!

Sahaja Yogis are going to have to accept that " ordinary Christian Americans'

will not accept photographs to worship, which they consider to be idols. So,

Sahaja Yogis will have to teach about the " Holy Spirit Within " so that " ordinary

Christian Americans " can " go within " and " KNOW THEMSELVES " !

This has to be done, in the language, culture, and 'Christian understanding' of

" ordinary Americans " .

So Jagbir, i am very glad you have made these points, also!

Btw. Christians also have to be told that " in Shri Mataji's teachings " Christ's

teachings of the " Coming of the Comforter " and His continued " Last Judgment and

Resurrection Message " has finally been fulfilled!

Like you say, Jagbir, the Subtle System Knowledge is a small part of it, which

Christians will likely not take too, unless they know the " big picture " of why

the subtle system knowledge is handy to have. Unlike Hindus, who are maybe very

" chakra based " , 'Christian Americans' are not 'chakra based'! They think it is

" occult knowledge " that is forbidden knowledge, in a lot of cases.

So, these are the barriers to reaching " Ordinary Christian Americans', and

understanding of 'Christian Americans' is needed, to take Sahaja Yoga to them in

a way that they can accept it!

So, 'Hindu-looking-things' will probably not work with ordinary 'Christian

Americans', i would say. Because Christian Americans are very much indoctrinated

into " not worshipping idols " , nor are that interested in chakras, or Kundlini.

But they " are " interested in the " Holy Spirit " , in the " Last Judgment and

Resurrection " , in the " Narrow Gate " , and in " Salvation " , and in Christ's

Message. So these aspects have to be addressed and focussed upon!

The only way we can do that is speak to them in their own language of

embrace their own 'Christian Comforter's' teachings, they will be

more disposed to learning even the deeper aspects of the subtle

system, i would say. After all, the subtle system is couched in the

language of the 'Seven Churches' in the Bible. Edgar Cayce, the

American prophet and seer, also revealed the same. And 'churches' are

really our 'inner temple' and not external churches, when spoken

about in the Bible!]

i had been looking for the Holy Spirit/Comforter that Christ said

would come. So when i first came to Sahaja Yoga Meditation in a

private home, very soon, i asked about the identity of Shri Mataji,

and so forth. i put 2 and 2 together, and realised that She might be

the Christian Comforter, that Christ promised would come. Of course,

my subsequent spiritual experience soon confirmed that. Maybe, unlike

a lot of Sahaja Yogis, i was actually grounded in the Christian

scriptures and knew them backwards and forwards, inside and out. And

maybe, unlike many Christians, i had from my early years, when i

first started asking 'what is it all about?'.... read the Bible very

deeply, to really ascertain Christ's meaning.... not superficially,

but very deeply. Through the years, i realised i needed something

more, a really Divine personality in my life, to take me further, and

i knew that would be the Comforter that Christ promised would come!

All i can say, is that my real Life Quest, has been fulfilled.
