Guest guest
Hi everyone jsm just want to share some of my thoughts. recently in our collective there r some things going on. for a while our weekly meditation class was getting quite routine with not much interaction n engagement with newcomers. so as usual people started to leave. this prompted some members to be more initiative to suggest some changes. however this was done behind the scenes n some emails to a private group(mainly yuvashaktis n some key ppl) were exchanged without including the centre leader. well our collective is quite small so i was part of this group naturally. some spontaneous suggestions were given by the people in this group but somehow it triggered to become a hoohah. apparently someone had described the class as 'boring' n this word plus some other comments caused a huge reaction in one of the key people. n he blasted everyone with a long email with irrelevant details n also made it wrong the fact that the centre leader was not included in the discussions. well the person was someone i thought was a very deep yogi, so was really surprised by his sudden outburst. seems like everyone is not what they appear to be. this is the first time i'm seeing sth like this happen in our collective. such strong reactions to petty things. n what happened next was last nite we had a collective gathering to have an informal discussion in person rather than thru email. everything was going well and little was discussed abt the incident. at the end of the session i was the one who actually brought it up with someone, coz i'm the type who likes to know y things happen so i was just being curious as usual. our conversation was overheard by others n the discussion started to spread. in the end many others were telling me that i shouldn't have brought the matter up in the first place. but my thinking was some things should be clarified n we shud understand how other ppl think in certain situations. but their thinking was we shouldnt talk about it because it will lead to division between the collective, destroying the oneness, by argumentations n exerting of ego. ya i agree that i don't quite have the awareness yet of what to say or do in collectivity but still i feel there is something wrong. like they r trying to ignore some aspects n keep quiet just to maintain the unity of the collectivity. just feel that everything is like so fragile. saying anything wrong or doing anything wrong will lead to undesirable consequences. like having to be on tip toes all the time. n open communication seems like criticism. usually i depend on my intuition , so many a times i don't really buy 100% what people tell me becoz i feel sth is wrong or missing. now i really feel most yogis will just follow what someone else tells them, especially those from the top. they r afraid of not following protocol. what's with this protocol anyway? did shri mataji lay it down? recently i had joined Orkut n saw many communities spreading msg to not visit the adishakti.org site saying stuff like having bad vibrations. i wonder if ppl actually check it for themselves,i doubt it, but even if they did they wud still follow the advice istead of trusting themselves. quite sad. Im assuming no one from my collective comes here. what will they think of this?
