Guest guest
Dear Gerlinde and All, i have appended an excerpt from Shri Mataji, where She says that life was born, or came out of, the sea. regards, violet What Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi said.... This is the day of Mahalakshmi Puji, and not only of Lakshmi Puja - there is a difference between the two. 'Mahalakshmi' is one of the three main powers of the Adi Shakti, with the three main powers (as you know) being 'Mahalakshmi', 'Mahasaraswati' and 'Mahakali'. Now, these three powers, have powers at a material level, and also at a subtler level, so that the 'Mahalakshmi power' is the chief, after the Lakshmi power. So in the Lakshmi, there are eight powers, of Lakshmi. This Lakshmi was born - or came out of, the sea. The great sea, which was churned thousands and thousands of years ago. And She came out of the sea because She was the Daughter of the sea. And that's why She is called 'Neela Jar'. 'Neela' means water and 'Jar' means born out of. This happened thousands and thousands of years ago, that She was born. So what is this Lakshmi symbol expressing? It is expressing the awareness. Lakshmi expresses awareness, as She came out of the sea. The awareness first started growing in the sea! The life started existing in the sea to begin with! And then, it grew out from there. Without the life, there is no awareness. And then, it grew out from there. First, " the life came " , because everything is " jaddah " , meaning everything is dead. And when it comes to life, it has awareness. So the awareness started growing in the sea. This is a symbolic expression at the gross level. At the subtle level, it is the other way around. But because of the way we see [perceive] things at the gross level, we say 'it is symbolic'. From the other side [subtle side] if you say 'this is symbolic' - for Me it is symbolic to see how life came into being in the sea and that it [made] Me aware [of itself]. For Me, that is the symbolic [meaning] and for you, it is symbolic the other way around. I mean, if I see something from this side I see it this way, while you see it from that side. The one who is at the subtle level, sees the gross as a symbolic expression of the subtle [and vice versa, i.e. the person who is at the gross level, sees the subtle as a symbolic expression of the gross?!] (Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi - Diwali Puja, Hampstead, England, 9/11/80) [Written in the English way, with what Shri Mataji gave, being retained] , " magdca " <gerlindesattler wrote: > > Dear Jagbir, Violet and All, > > I just caught a rerun of a quite fascinating radio program on " THE > MYSTERY OF THE GIANT FACE ON THE FLOOR OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN " as > explained below by radio host Richard Syrett with guest Lloyd > Stewart Carpenter, whose website is http://www.777news.com if you > wish to access more detailed information. > > What intrigued me to continue to listen to the radio program and > check out the Carpenter site myself, was that a number of years ago > I saw a picture of a mountain, (which I believe was Machu Pichu), > that when turned sideways showed a very definitive man's facial > profile.
