The Message of Christ and the Inherent Dangers of Sustaining the

Realization - by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

Dear All,

We concluded Part 7 with:

[Yet] they will see the Kundalini rising. With their eyes they will see it

pulsating, rising, breaking here; still they will sit down and say: " I am

doubting! "

Now, who are you? How far have you reached? " Why " are you doubting? " What " are

you doubting? " What " have you known about your Self? Now, humble yourself at

this point. Humble down in your heart: " I have not known my Self. I have to know

my Self. I have not known my Self. I have not got the Absolute. With what

instrument, am I doubting? " This is one of the greatest hurdles of Kundalini

awakening - even after awakening! Called 'Sanshaya', doubt. (Shri Mataji Nirmala

Devi - Formal Talk, 'The Message of Christ and the Inherent Dangers of

Sustaining the Realization', Caxton Hall, England – 10 December, 1979)

Folks, here are the inherent dangers in sustaining the realization,

that Shri Mataji has given thus far:

1. Going to the extent of cleaning the outer temple of the body so

that a religion of first importance is given to that, while the most

important part which is to be given to God - becomes of second

importance.

2. Akarmanyata - a person not wanting to work it out because they are

too lazy and it is just much for them.

3. Akramanyata - losing the vibrations, not believing in them, but

still coming back to Shri Mataji for healing a year later, rather

than themselves equipping themselves with their own innate powers of

spiritual healing.

4. 'Sanshaya', doubt.

Here now is Part 8 regarding the message of Christ and the dangers

inherent in sustaining the realization.

Enjoy!

The Message of Christ and the Inherent Dangers of Sustaining the

Realization - by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi....

[Written in the English way with the meaning of what Shri Mataji gave

being retained]

The fourth one, we can call it 'Pramada'. It is the one by which we go on

'faltering' all the time [such as asking] foolish questions. I mean there are

certain things one has to follow! If you are going on the road that you are used

to, such as continental driving, you always turn on the 'wrong' side for London

driving. In London you will be arrested if you drive in the same way as

'continental driving'. Now that you are in London, you better take to the way of

Londoners and understand the roads, the maps, and the regulations, and try to

follow them. But if you are doubting it ['the roads, maps, regulations'], then

you do not want to follow it! So 'Pramada' is the mistakes that arise.

Kundalini awakening is a free gift to anyone who comes here [even] anyone who

has been to any sort of hell or heaven or has done very common things that

happen. But we blame Sahaja Yoga [i.e.] we blame that spontaneous happening

within us. We never take the blame upon ourselves, 'that I must have made a

mistake'.

" All right, if I make mistakes, I will rectify [it]; it's alright. "

Mother is forgiving, no doubt! But sometimes my forgiveness is of no use,

because until and unless you realize it was a mistake, you would go 'this' way,

instead of 'that' way. So the 'rule of the road' is to be understood! That is

the one that comes to us as 'Pramada'.

After that, we have another inherent problem. It is called as 'Bhrama-darshan';

hallucinations. We start seeing hallucinations, especially people who take LSD

and all such things. They do not see me. Sometimes they just see light or any

such hallucination of the future or the past. They may see me as something else.

If you see Me in dreams it is all right; or see something in dreams, it is

alright. But if you start seeing something that's called 'Bhrama Darshan';

illusions; then you start developing illusions. [break Quote]

[Note: Folks, the hallucinations of people who take drugs or other substances,

is not to be confused with the mystical knowledge, i.e. " gnosis " of mystics.

WCASY et al are only too quick to 'debunk' the mystical evidence of the Adi

Shakti, trying to 'imply' that it is the same as the 'hallucinations' of someone

who takes drugs or other substances, or who has schizophrenia, and etc. This is

the case, even though Shri Mataji said at Sydney Airport in 1994 (and i and a

roomful of yogis heard it) that " special personalities would give evidence to

confirm Her Incarnation " . That evidence is mystical evidence, and it did not

come in the form of a dream. There have been many mystic visionaries throughout

time. Shri Mataji is not meaning that 'mystics are having an illusion'. Shri

Mataji is Herself a Mystic, as She clearly sees into the Spiritual World and has

often talked to Sahaja Yogis about it. Shri Mataji sees Angels, Deities and

'Bhoots'. In this instance, Shri Mataji is addressing the basic spiritual

necessities of the realized soul, who is still concerned with the the inherent

problems in sustaining their realization.]

[Recommence on 'Bhrama-darshan']:

The worst part of it, is that people start telling lies. I know about everyone!

When this 'Bhrama-darshan' starts, it is the most dangerous thing for

vibrations! Some people are " absolutely cocksure " about themselves: " I see

that " . And they tell the world, that they will dominate everybody, by saying

that " the vibrations of this thing are no good [and the vibrations] of that

thing are no good " - while they [themselves] have no mastery over it [i.e. the

vibrations]! Now, I have to be very careful! I cannot talk like a teacher! So I

say: " Alright, give yourself a bandhan and put your hands towards Me and see for

yourself " .... and all that. If they by any chance know that I have found out

that they are lying, then they are finished. You see, I am very careful, because

I know that they are on very slippery ground. So even if I mention in a way that

is not so blunt, still it might happen [that they find out that Shri Mataji

knows]. But one must know that it is for our good, that we have to stick on to

the truth. And we should not be led away by our own ideas about ourselves. (Shri

Mataji Nirmala Devi - Formal Talk, 'The Message of Christ and the Inherent

Dangers of Sustaining the Realization', Caxton Hall, England – 10 December,

1979)
