Guest guest
The Message of Christ and the Inherent Dangers of Sustaining the Realization - by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Dear All, We concluded Part 8 with: The worst part of it, is that people start telling lies. I know about everyone! When this 'Bhrama-darshan' starts, it is the most dangerous thing for vibrations! Some people are " absolutely cocksure " about themselves, 'I see that'. And they tell the world, that they will dominate everybody, by saying that " the vibrations of this thing are no good [and the vibrations] of that thing are no good " - while they [themselves] have no mastery over it [i.e. the vibrations]! Now, I have to be very careful! I cannot talk like a teacher! So I say: " Alright, give yourself a bandhan and put your hands towards Me and see for yourself " .... and all that. If they by any chance know that I have found out that they are lying, then they are finished. You see, I am very careful, because I know that they are on very slippery ground. So even if I mention in a way that is not so blunt, still it might happen [that they find out that Shri Mataji knows]. But one must know that it is for our good, that we have to stick on to the truth. And we should not be led away by our own ideas about ourselves. (Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi - Formal Talk, 'The Message of Christ and the Inherent Dangers of Sustaining the Realization', Caxton Hall, England – 10 December, 1979) Folks, here is the list of inherent dangers in sustaining the realization, that Shri Mataji has given. (i have also included 'Vishaya Chitta', which is mentioned in this Part 9, that is appended): 1. Going to the extent of cleaning the outer temple of the body so that a religion of first importance is given to that, while the most important part which is to be given to God - becomes of second importance. 2. Akarmanyata - a person not wanting to work it out because they are too lazy and it is just much for them. 3. Akramanyata - losing the vibrations, not believing in them, but still coming back to Shri Mataji for healing a year later, rather than themselves equipping themselves with their own innate powers of spiritual healing. 4. 'Sanshaya' - doubting what one has received, i.e. their connection to Spirit, as evidenced by the Cool Breeze. 5. 'Pramada' - the mistakes that arise but not realizing that they are mistakes. 6. 'Bhrama-darshan' - telling people lies either because they are having hallucinations due to drugs, or because they are having lower self illusions about themselves. These people are " absolutely cock-sure " being led by 'ideas' about themselves, while having no mastery in regards to vibrations themselves, but still telling others that 'this' or 'that' has no vibrations. 7. 'Vishaya Chitta' - is an attention that gets stuck, or adhered on to things, because one has identified with these objects in the past. The idea is to have one's attention, one's joy, on the Spirit. It is only the Spirit Within that really brings the lasting Joy; not any physical objects that one might have associated and identified as bringing the joy. All identifications of joy, ultimately come from Spirit and not from any physical objects, per se; not to lose sight of that; not to lose that balance. Here now is Part 9 regarding the message of Christ and the dangers inherent in sustaining the realization. regards to all, violet The Message of Christ and the Inherent Dangers of Sustaining the Realization - by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.... Another thing that comes, is 'Vishaya Chitta', in which the attention is attracted by objects of previous identifications, [that is] where your attention has been [before]. Say you are fond of cricket; alright you are! But you should not become a sick person [over it]! I mean, that does not mean you 'become a cricket bat' and you are good for nothing for anything else! In that kind of craziness, for all practical purposes, you are [as good as] dead, [as] whatever gets your attention into a wrong state is not good for Sahaja Yogis. Today the lecture is more for the Sahaja Yogis. I am pointing out what are the inherent dangers in the way of sustaining our realization which is very important to understand.
