Guest guest
Dear All, Are " Unofficial Recordings " of Shri Mataji's Words really possible? Did Shri Mataji, Herself, not say that whatever is recorded on tape, is to be accepted! She even told us that what She said, is like a mantra for us! But we have evidence that Sahaja Yogis refer to what is called 'Unofficial Recordings' of what Shri Mataji said on tape: " There are going to be many deficiencies... many gaps in the research data that has been so far collated. To 'discover' everything that has been spoken of by Shri Mataji would indeed take a lifetime. Here the whole collective can be of tremendous help. We all listen to a great variety of lectures, and also unofficial recordings... and it is here that your help can prove to be invaluable. " http://www.sahajvidya.org/SahajVidya/FirstFruits_111.htm Notice the words: " We all listen to a great variety of lectures, and also unofficial recordings " . Who ever first referred to anything Shri Mataji said, and that was recorded on tape, as being something 'unofficial'? Who? i really would like to know how this has come about. How can anything that Shri Mataji said, and which is on tape, be an 'Unofficial Recording' of Shri Mataji's Words? What is 'Unofficial' about what Shri Mataji is saying on tape? Is it 'Unofficial' until WCASY edit it and make it 'Official'? Because i would rather believe all that Shri Mataji so-called 'unofficially said' than anything WCASY say that does not agree with what Shri Mataji said! To be fair though, here are some possibilities. i don't know which are the right possibilities, though: 1. Could 'Official Recordings' be what WCASY deem as 'OK' for the public record, and 'Unofficial Recordings' be what WCASY do not deem as 'OK' for the public record? 2. Could 'Official Recordings' be what WCASY have had edited, so that Shri Mataji's Words are now 'officially approved'? 3. Could 'Official Recordings' be the Formal Talks, i.e. what Shri Mataji said on what could be called 'Official Occasions' like international pujas and so forth, as opposed to 'Unofficial Recordings' being the Informal Talks, i.e. what Shri Mataji said to Sahaja Yogis on the spur of the moment, in more informal settings? (For example, like when She talked in front of a whole room full of Sahaja Yogis at Sydney Airport in 1994, and said there would be special personalities from Montreal, Canada, who would give evidence to confirm Her Incarnation... which BTW has come true!!!) If someone can explain why some of Shri Mataji's Words on tape are considered as 'Unofficial', it would be most appreciated! regards to all, violet
