When we are in His Kingdom. S/He looks after us...

Dear Mary,

 

Welcome to the forum. i don't recall you posting before and i hope you are

enjoying this forum. About all the dire predictions, i know they are there.

However, as a Self realized person, i have no fear of these things, because i

trust in the Divine Within to look after me. Maybe you might see that as being

naive. It isn't. Jesus promised that: " Seek first His kingdom and His

righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. " (Matthew 6:33) Mary,

you sound like you are on a Crusade to save the world from future hunger. The

world you see with your eyes, is not all that there is! There is a lot of help

in the time of need, from the Divine. God does look after those who " seek first

His kingdom and His righteousness " . This is how Jesus explained it 2000 years

ago:

 

" Do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall

drink; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on. Is not life more than

food, and the body than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they do not

sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father

feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And which of you by being

anxious can add a single cubit to this life's span? And why are you anxious

about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor

do they spin, yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory did not clothe

himself like one of these. But if God so arrays the grass of the field, which is

alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more do so

for you, O men of little faith? Do not be anxious then, saying, 'What shall we

eat?' or 'With what shall we clothe ourselves?' For all these things the

Gentiles eagerly seek; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these

things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things

shall be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow

will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. " Words of Jesus -

Mathew 6:25-34)

 

If you really want to avert famine Mary, you need to seek first His Kingdom and

His righteousness, and you will avert it. Then you can help others seek His

Kingdom and His righteousness. When the people all seek His Kingdom and His

righteousness, there will be no famine! That is the way things work out in the

present, which is the only place that we can have the spiritual power, to work

things out.

 

Meanwhile, welcome to the forum and please tell us a little about your Self.

That is what we are interested in. When we change our Self, the World changes

too. Again, that is how the 'real famines' and all the dire prophecies will be

averted!
