You must have felt the tremendous vibrations of this place, and that you come

here after so many years, when you were surprised that this place has a great

connection with Me, as such. Because My fore-fathers ruled in this place, and

this was the capital of Shalivahan called as " Pratishatha " , and they made it

easier [shortened it to] " Paithan " .

There were rulers for thousands of years, and one who started this 'Shalivahan

Dynasty' as they called 'Satvahan', i.e., 'Seven Vahanas' and they represented

it as seven vahanas; as seven chakras. It's surprising how Sahaja, after there

was a great poet, 'Ganeshwara' who came here and he was born very close to this

place. He was here for quite sometime.

There was one fellow who was a very supra-conscious person, a 'Chandev' who was

challenging there. So he said: " What do you have with you to show what you got? "

There was a male buffalo with him, which was just walking on the road.

Ganeshwara made that buffalo say the main mantras - and Chandev tried to show

some tricks. Ganeshwara with his brothers and sisters and the rest were sitting

on a broken wall and he made the wall to move, with all of them in the air. Then

Chandev realised that there is a kind of an incarnation sitting on the wall.

Apart from that, another great poet called " Eknath "

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eknath wrote lots of books, songs, like 'Namadeva'

- describing Sahaja Yoga. So this place had some sort of attractive focus of

vibration for all these great saints to come and settle down there.

There were excavations, lots of old things about this place, and the sari was

given to the goddess here. That means this place called " Paithani " started at

the time of the Shalivahan, and the art is still there. The only sari they used

was real gold - as real gold for the goddess, so this place is still vibrating.

It is out of the way for people to come down, thank God, so it still maintains

its own vibrations, own goodness and purity - and luckily, all you good people

have come to visit this place!

As you go around, you will see a beautiful garden. The river Godavari is called

'Ganga', the Ganges of the South. It starts from Nasik, where you were before

and then it comes here. A big dam was made for the main supply of water all

over, which you can see. Eknath's temple is just behind, here and so many of you

may go and look at it, also.

We happily went and saw the Ajanta Caves; it should show for you how dedicated

people were to built on that:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajanta_Caves

In ten centuries, they had not seen Buddha at all. Buddha never came from south

of India. Just believing in Buddha, what work they did, what sacrifices, how

they built it! They had to go through very difficult times because there was no

water and no communication - nothing. They used stones which you may have seen,

of different colours and different hues, which are created on the Mother Earth.

When you break and strike these 'ek-like' stones, you get beautiful semiprecious

stone. They dissolve them in a solvent used in indigenous painting, and that's

how the paint is still surviving today. How they painted at that time, without

lights! What sort of eyes they must have had! What dedication to give them the

power to paint it, which carried on for ten centuries! If Sahaja Yoga can be

carried on for ten centuries - this will be a different place.

One has to learn that we have to be dedicated. We must fully dedicate ourselves.

We are not here to gain everything out of Sahaja Yoga. Like, in the beginning

people have problems about their families, so they think that God can solve

their problems. So, they come to Sahaja Yoga to oblige --- and now, God must

solve their problems! If their problems are with their relations, God must solve

their problems. That sort of job is now given to God, because they have no

imagination to join such a part [i.e., to work out their own problems through

surrender to the Holy Spirit within]. After that, God must give them money. He

must provide for everything and He must look after us, for no commitment in

return:

" NOBODY HAS COMMITMENT IN SAHAJA YOGA, GOD HAS COMMITTED AND GOD HAS TO WORK IT

OUT " ....... and so they started! Some people foolishly started using Sahaja

Yoga for other purposes - like earning money or earning power or maybe faith or

domination or anything! These are the steps which are going down; not upward -

and then, once you go down, you don't realise if you are going upward or

downward!

So in dedication one has to see: " What have I dedicated, for certain? All the

time I have problems. All the time, I say: 'I can't do this, because of that. I

can't do that, because of this. These are the problems. i like to do [it] like

this.' " ....... All the time, the " I, I, I and I " ....... 'But what have I

dedicated? What have I given to Sahaja Yoga?' ------- and they can't do

anything.

These people [at the Ajanta Caves] did it not only to please [God] but

permanently went and settled in that place, furthest away from any machinery,

without anything. They did the whole of the painting and excavation and that

entire work is of such a tremendous volume that it is an impossibility to

re-create in modern times with all your machinery. Nobody can do it because they

don't have the dedication.

So for Sahaja Yoga, we have to put ourselves on to a point of: " What did I do?

What sacrifices did I make for Sahaja Yoga? Nothing? " .... If it's only for my

own child, maybe my wife or myself, or my job or something, what is our

commitment? Without commitment, purity cannot come - but it will go up and down

like a yo-yo. We are committed to Sahaja Yoga, if there are even five people who

are really, fully committed to Sahaja Yoga. But the problem is, everybody's

sharing this kind of non-committed behaviour with each other. That's something

that's not good. " Committed " means even if you have to give your life, you

should do it. Even if you have to give up everything, you should do it. But all

other considerations are to be taken there. Everything should work out. All

should be enjoying all the time. You must get your jobs, you must get your wife,

you must get everything, children properly done, everything should be done by

Sahaja Yoga - and when this commitment starts, I am sure Sahaja Yoga will spread

like anything.

Even with falsehood, when people are committed like you see in all the

religions, how much it has spread! Of course Sahaja Yoga [union with the Divine]

is blessing and blissful, blessing you all the time. It gives you a very long

rope to hang yourself sometimes; one must know that kind of blessing, also. So

one has to be very, very alert that God has chosen us for a very special work

and we have to be fully committed to Sahaja Yoga. All those who are wise will

take this to understand that without this work, life is otherwise useless, good

for nothing and has no meaning. This has to come first from the leaders and then

from others, the complete commitment to Sahaja Yoga. It doesn't mean that you

have to give up anything. For My thing you don't have to do it, but for your own

sake, for your own betterment, you have to do it.

I hope next time when you come to India, you will be coming better prepared for

commitments. It is not only money. It is not only your talking about it, saying

about it, writing about it ------- but it is through your own being that you

should have it. You all should have become the source of energy that I want to

emit all over the world, that light which is going to enlighten, no doubt. The

artificiality is not going to work it out, but complete genuineness within.

Look at the Sikhs, they had nobody, they didn't have a Mother to alter them.

Ganeshwara's life, you will be shocked, he didn't even have shoes to walk in. He

was treated badly because of his father, was a sanyasi and was married, so they

said that these children of sanyasi, they had no food to eat and they have to

walk for miles together barefoot. They had no blessing of a Mother on them; this

bit of that they kept to the modern Sahaja Yoga, because of the state of their

chit [consciousness]. Know all this for your good, for your benevolence, that

you get all your blessings. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't meet, that you

shouldn't progress. One has to progress higher and higher. One has to decide to

commit. I committed to Sahaja Yoga. That is what you have to be: " committed " .

MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
