Dear All,

We concluded Part 5 with the following:

" Who can know the protocol of the Divine mother? You cannot bind me into

protocol! You cannot bind me into anything! I am unlimited. I am detached. To

think that you have attracted me towards you by your protocol which is dead, has

no meaning! It has to be a living protocol of being kind and generous; be

beautiful. Some are lethargic. Like a husband who wants the wife to work all the

time or the wife who wants the husband to work every time. Everybody finds fault

with each other. They are not Sahaja Yogis. Sahaja Yogis are the ones who take

it 'Sahaja'. If somebody is not working, that person will go down. I will put

that person out of Sahaja Yoga. Why did you come to Sahaja Yoga? You are

seekers. You have been seeking for ages! Are you going to waste your life? In

any case, you have to sleep most of your life. Why not work it out now? In every

way, be active. "

Here now, is Part 6.

The correct foundations and ideals of a SY - Part 6

Firstly, you become real and very good citizens, and with moral values, which

are your foundation. You, yourself, judge. You are realised souls. I leave it to

you to judge. [Without that foundation] you will lose your vibrations. You can

become silent. Silence can be from other agencies, [for example], negative

forces from the left side of the Agnya are 'giving ideas'. You must have your

own ideas!-- " I can't, I go on thinking " this nonsense goes on! Just tell

yourself, how dare you do all this nonsense of the left side! Those who are

left-sided, better go for lemon treatment and shoebeating. Those who are

right-sided, better shoebeat 108 times. Get in the Centre. [break Quote]

[Note]: Given what Shri Mataji said in the above paragraph, in 1981, She

dispelled the need for SYs who are " in the centre " to engage in any external

treatments, such as shoebeating and lemon treatments. That's because, when a SY

is centered, the Kundalini Energy flows freely, and the SY can direct that

energy wherever they wish to, with their enlightened attention alone. If the SY

has faith in themselves, and in their awakened Kundalini Energy, the Kundalini

Energy will flow well. If the SY has some doubt about their Self and their

Kundalini Energy, this creates an obstruction to it's flowing well. It all works

out, even if gradually. A person " in the centre " will see a gradual improvement

that the Kundalini Energy works out, if they meditate, introspect, contemplate,

have faith in themselves, and in the Kundalini Energy.

One of the greatest obstructions to the Kundalini Energy flowing well, has been

the teaching of the SYSSR (Sahaja Yoga Subtle System Religion), that a person

will never be without catches for the rest of his life. What the SYSSR refers to

negatively as 'catches' is actually the job of Kundalini, to warn, admonish,

inform. When the Kundalini Energy is flowing clearly, it will still register a

catch, if it needs to warn a person, of imminent spiritual danger, or a warning

of something. It is a spiritual biofeedback system. As soon as that warning

comes, the person just has to re-adjust their attention, as they have been

warned as to where the problem lies, and the catch/registration will go away in

seconds and/or minutes, through directing one's enlightened attention, to where

the problem lies.

The Kundalini Energy will work out all problems, if the person stays " in the

center " . But in the SYSSR they go on shoebeating furiously and lemon-treating

and whatnot, almost as if the registration itself of the Kundalini Energy, needs

to be beaten out of them! Of course, if the Kundalini continues to " register " ,

and this registration does not go away in a few seconds and/or minutes, then

there is something wrong in the person. It could be that they are not " in the

centre " . It could be that instead of listening to the Divine Mother within, they

are listening to the ideas of the negative forces from the left side of the

Agnya.

It is all very psycho-somatic, in that, if a person's Kundalini Energy has been

awakened, and the SY is listening to the negative forces within from the left

Agnya instead of to the Divine Mother/Higher Self within, the Kundalini Energy

will register this to the person, through a catch/registration. But SYs who have

been in SY for so many years, should by now have reached the stage where their

Kundalini flows freely. Shri Mataji already wanted that in 1982! Even then, Shri

Mataji said of those who were not " in the centre " that:

" Just tell yourself, how dare you do all this nonsense of the left side! " (The

same can be said of the right side).

So, what is really needed is meditation, introspection, and listening to the

Divine Mother within, and to your Kundalini Energy. And not indulging in the

nonsense of the SYSSR, with its endless rituals and treatments, which keep a

person from discovering the lasting treatment that is faith in themselves, in

the Divine Mother Within, and in the Kundalini Energy. [End Note]

[Resume Quote]:

You should really love yourself, cleanse yourself and be in the centre. Never be

proud of your ego: " I think this is correct! " Beat " yourself " 108 times. You can

be very high handed, and then you have no embarrassment of what you are doing.

You can be absolutely shameless. But you are a Sahaja Yogi! You should feel

embarrassed about such things! There should be a little 'sankoch'! There should

be reservations about it! How can you say such a thing to some one? Why hurt

anyone? [break Quote]

[Note]: Shri Mataji meted out this 'punishment' of shoebeating to those with

great egos. They were those who invariably hurt others and/or continued to lord

it over others. There were actually quite a few of these types in SY,

surprisingly enough. i had always thought that a real SY would not want to hurt

others or lord it over them, but SY attracted quite a number of these

characters. i don't ever recall Shri Mataji asking the whole collective to

shoebeat themselves, as a group. i only recall that it was meted out

individually, to those who complained about their ego, that they could not get

on top of it, with normal methods of meditation, introspection, faith in

themselves, and surrender to the Divine. Or, it was meted out to those, who

inadvertently revealed their great ego to Shri Mataji. If normal methods of

meditation, introspection, contemplation and so forth did not work, then Shri

Mataji's last resort was to have them physically beat their own ego, out of

themselves! Better to beat themselves, than hurt and lord it over everyone else!

But, due to the SYSSR, even sweet, centered yogis, who never hurt a flea, nor

tried to lord it over anyone, were made to shoebeat! The SYSSR made it into a

ritual that was a good thing for everyone to do. i did it too, because i did not

know better, and because i was told to do it. i am glad we have a better

understanding of this subject, today. Shri Mataji only meant shoebeatings and

lemon treatments for the 'sick' people. In this case it was for the people with

a sick ego bloat, like you can sometimes see in people from a mile off, even in

society. But we didn't expect it in SYs, did we?! But due to the SYSSR, many

things were not understood and were confused. So, even sweet yogis with no ego,

were made to beat themselves as if they were great egotists, lol! But

unfortunately, i think that has stunted the collective growth, until SYs

individually wake up to this wrong teaching of the SYSSR, that has gotten off

the track, of what Shri Mataji gave.]

[Resume Quote]

Agya bloats more and more. So many are like that. I know where somebody tries to

show off, tries to be a Guru and tries to push down others: " I know Sahaja

yoga " , " I am a great Sahaja Yogi " --- Then I make their 'ego-horns' come out.

You can feel it, jutting out of your head! Push it down! This is the sticking

point. Though the balloon goes thin, it sticks on. You are all Buddhas. Buddha

is the one who is realised, the one who is enlightened, the one who knows. You

are the enlightened ones. How can you have an ego?
