Dear All,

We concluded Part 7 with the following:

" You have to be ideals. You have to be in the centre. You have to be a Sahaja

Yogi. That is the most important thing. Don't judge yourself by what you think

of yourself, but what Mother thinks of you. How much joy are you giving to your

Mother? If you make Her unhappy, then what is the use? "

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, Chelsham Road, London, England, 24 May, 1981

Here now, is Part 8.

Enjoy,

The correct foundations and ideals of a SY - Part 8

You must have noticed that there are really very few true seekers in this world.

And seekers also must realise that they cannot be happy with anything else, but

their Spirit! This is the test of a seeker, and a non-seeker can never

understand a seeker. It is very difficult to live with a man or woman who is not

a seeker, because you catch all the bad points, and you suffer. If the person

has an ego, you catch it on your Agya. Nothing happens to him. He is very nicely

off. He has his ego intact, and he is torturing you. [break Quote]

[Note}

For exactly the above reason, it is so important for SYs to be " in the centre " .

When a person feels this kind of ego catch/registration from another person,

there is no option but to get away from the person, or else endure the torture.

But i can assure you, this experience of 'torture' which only SYs have

experienced, as their Kundalini Energy has been awakened and informs them, is

unbearable, to be present in for long. It can feel like a most painful ache in

one's head, that comes on as suddenly, as when such a person is in one's

presence. i am reminded of the verse in the Bible, which i believe describes the

Kundalini Energy very well. Here it is:

" For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword,

and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and

marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart " . (Hebrews

4:12)

And what happens in such an above scenario, is that this 'word of God' which is

the living Kundalini Energy, does pierce as far as the division of soul and

spirit, of both joints and marrow, and does judge the thoughts and intentions of

the heart! And in SYs, it registers these! That is why we are new creatures in

Christ, in whom the word of God is living, is awakened! [End Note]

[Resume Quote]:

But a person who is a seeker is a better person, because you can give

realisation to such a person, and your vibratory awareness can be shared. But to

be with a non-seeker, can be a very difficult situation. You cannot make a fruit

into a flower. In your case, you have become the fruit! But you must have a

flower, around which you can make into a fruit! [break Quote]

[Note]:

That is why the 'Blossom Time' is just so important, because there has to be a

flowering in order for there to be fruit. Without the blossoms, without the

flowering, there can't be any spiritual fruit, either! [End Note]

[Resume Quote]:

Those who are entangled with problems like " my father, my mother, my brother, my

son " etc. should learn not to get entangled with such problems. Those who are

not flowers should be avoided, forgotten and lost. The more you try to improve

them, the more entangled you will become. They can never improve. [break Quote]

[Note]:

Shri Mataji is just stating the facts. It does not mean She doesn't have

compassion also, for those who are not seekers. But those who are not seekers,

cannot come into Her net of Salvation. To have salvation, a person has to seek

salvation. It is true, that a person, who is not a spiritual seeker, will not

have real interest in spiritual subjects, or in spiritual seeking. They may

feign interest for a while, just to please you, but that is all it amounts to,

if they are not spiritual seekers. In the end, they will only entangle a SY,

while the SY wrings out their 'guts', or 'wrenches in agony' to try and help

them. Shri Mataji says that the more you try to improve them, the more entangled

you will become. She says the persons who are not spiritual seekers, will never

improve. We know ourselves, that if we did not do our spiritual seeking, we

would not have improved, either! That is the proof of the pudding, that what

Shri Mataji says, is correct. [End Note]

[Resume Quote]:

I give you a big rope. If they are not seekers then they will never be so, and

you cannot inject seeking into them. They may become materially well off, but

they can never become seekers and you forget about them.

You may have to suffer because of them, for if they catch, you suffer. If they

have a nabhi chakra [catch], you suffer. This kind of person is very difficult

to change. Do not waste your energy.. Christ has said " do not cast your pearls

before swine " . You cannot force anybody to become a seeker.

There are millions of seekers in the world, so forget about such relationships.

[break Quote]

[Note]:

Even though Shri Mataji says above, that there are very few spiritual seekers,

She also says that there are " millions of seekers in the world " . According to

Wikipedia, the world population hit the 6.5 billion mark in 2006:

" According to papers published by the United States Census Bureau, the world

population hit 6.5 billion (6,500,000,000) on February 25, 2006. "

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Population

So, in comparison to a population of 6.5 billion, " millions of people, only " is

relatively few. But, with millions of seekers, our work is still cut out for us!

[End Note]

[Resume Quote]:

They may call you 'mad' or 'crazy' or anything, but they will realise one thing:

that you lead a much better life than they do. You are much more peaceful,

blissful, dharmic and sane but they won't accept your life. Play around with

them, with the understanding that they cannot change. Even if they change

mentally, they cannot have that urge, because to a seeker nothing is important,

except seeking.
