No worries. You are free to raise any points you like.

i agree, that meditation is not, per se, a cure, but it depends upon the person,

and the circumstances, if the step of meditation, leads to a cure. It depends

upon one's relationship with the Source of all cures, who is your Mother within

that has been born again, and again, with you:

" So within us lies that Power and that Power is anxious to give you your second

birth. That Power lies as shown, lies in the triangular bone of sacrum and you

can see with your naked eyes the rising of this Power. It has nothing to do with

what nationality you have come from, what sort of clothes you are wearing, what

sort of hair dress you have — it has nothing to do with this but it has to do

something with your inner being. And while in your inner being there are certain

problems which you have created out of your ignorance, and this Power being your

Mother — your sweet loving Mother who has been born again and again with you —

knows your problems and She knows how to correct it. " Shri Mataji, Caxton Hall,

London, U.K., May 12, 1980.

Yes, i have heard it too. It just means they are not in the " state of

meditation', which you can be in at all times, even though you are not, per se,

sitting down to formally meditate. Developing a 'state of meditation' is

something you can carry with you wherever you go. It is a deeper consciousness,

a consciousness and awareness of your connection to your Higher Self/Spirit,

which guides you, and protects you.

Until a person develops the state of meditation, you could make that comparison.

Maybe they have not yet recognised that the purpose of meditation is to develop

the state of meditation, which is actually a relationship with one's Higher

Self/Spirit. In a 'state of meditation' that connection remains, and because

that connection with the Higher Self/Spirit remains, one can deal with all

'problems' that come their way, with confidence, even what seem the most

'terrible' problems at times.

There is no such thing as people not having personal problems. We all get them.

Even Shri Mataji got them. She had problems with leaders, SYs, family, and She

also suffered pains. For example, i recall hearing that SYs would have to

massage Her feet after Public Programs, sometimes, because of the pains She

would get afterwards. Most problems come with regards to our relationships,

either with ourselves or with others. So, there is no such thing, as people 'not

having problems'.

Where the difference lies, is in how people 'deal' with their problems. If they

sink into despair or depression, then that becomes " the real problem " . In my

experience, people didn't come to Sahaja Yoga Meditation just for spiritual

experience. They usually came to get relief from stress, a peace of mind, etc.

It is the seekers of the truth that found the truth that set them free, in Shri

Mataji's teachings. We are approaching Shri Mataji's teachings from a more

wholistic sense, than just as " Sahaja Yoga Meditation " .
