Guest guest
Dear Gerlinde (and All), i hear that you are successfully giving Self-realization in your local area while at the same time giving the full message of Sahaja Yoga upfront. Would you please share with us how you are doing it, as i am sure this would encourage others to do likewise. It would be helpful to know what kind of an approach you are using. i am sure there are many Sahaja Yogis who would be more than willing, if they could see their way forward, to present the full message of Sahaja Yoga upfront and in person in their own local area. Even before my 'unexpected, accidental' discovery of the adishakti.org site, I had always felt the strong desire to spread Sahaja Yoga. My participation in giving Self-Realization within the collective format gave me some basic grounding, but I soon wanted to spread this to more people within expanded venues. I began, so to speak, to test the public waters for myself. So, in order to see how giving Self-Realization by myself would work, I tried it on my own at first on a one-on-one basis. For me the difficult aspect was to find a way to initiate a conversation and to move it towards actually giving Self-Realization. I soon found many things could begin a connection: a candle, symbol such as a spiral, a picture book about travel... Often my attention would also be drawn to someone and I soon understood that that happened for a reason. Once my confidence became more established I wanted to connect with groups of people - common interest groups - health, crafts, service groups, Senior Citizens in Retirement Homes, schools teaching World Religions, Native groups and so on... Although initially my main emphasis was to give Self-Realization, I also wanted people to understand Sahaja Yoga in greater depth. Internally I soon began chafing at the implied, restrictive expectations I felt within the collective and with the discovery of adishakti.org I realized my uneasiness was well-founded. The next big challenge was to present Shri Mataji's Identitiy and full message and see what reactions resulted from this disclosure coming from a solitary local individual. One of the first venues for this 'experiment' was at a University Student Women's Club. One response to the full disclosure was from a young student who said with emotion that she knew, as soon as Shri Mataji started speaking on the Self-Realization tape that I played that day, that She was someone extraordinary! Another young World Religions high school student came up to me shyly after class and with her teacher standing next to me, said, " That was AWESOME! " And after discovering the connection of the White Buffalo Calf Woman and Shri Mataji and getting her Self-Realization, the young Native Woman I met at my second Pow Wow burst into tears and hugged me. Just recently I had the occasion to present Sahaja Yoga for the fourth year at a University's Wellness Fair. This was the third year for full disclosure there - six hours sped by, busy with many interactions, discussion, meditation basics, and Self-Realization for people of different faiths. A few weren't interested and merely shrugged and declined. My table is replete with a picture of Shri Mataji (to which the attention is drawn), pamphlets with four Shri Mataji quotes and the adishakti.org URLs, together with sample material from Taoism, Buddhism, The Advent and/or Meta Modern Era, Search for the Divine Mother, a large picture of Kuan Yin with a feminine form shown at Sahasrara - something I point out when time permits to people who've just felt the vibrations at Sahasrara. Available too is a chart I've put together of some religions together with interconnecting headings such as the Divine Feminine/Mother, Union with the Divine, Kingdom of God, The Age, Tree of Life, Proof of one's awakening as in 'wind, breath'... This can all be seen very easily at one glance for those who like to see an overview of Sahaja Yoga/Divine Feminine and the religions' interconnections. I've used this also in World Religions classes, since it also has brief quotes/explanations at the bottom section. In conclusion, I've used these past several years to present Shri Mataji's message and Identity in full wherever I can and have overall found a decidedly positive reaction. Anyone who is disinterested is free to decline. In a class, for example, I always say that participation is entirely voluntary, since everyone's freedom is respected. After speaking of the general overall success of presenting a full disclosure, I would like to share with you my observation of an overriding challenge regarding what may also be required to direct the public's attention towards Shri Mataji. It is that, after the full disclosure has been presented and Self-Realization has been given and a brief discussion follows, except for connecting again with the inner circle, so to speak, of the adishakti.org internet sites, these newly Realized souls never hear or see another word about WHO Shri Mataji is, WHAT HER complete message IS from an outside independent venue of newspaper, magazine, radio, TV, talk show, film etc. As a direct result of this lack of confirmation or even discussion of the importance and relevance of what has just been experienced, I'm wondering how many people just forget about this experience and become reinvolved in the mundane world. In general, there's little in the illusory outside world which draws the attention again to Shri Mataji, the Holy Spirit, and the Resurrection Time, Salvation via the media of film, newspaper, magazine, radio, talk shows, or interviews as a necessary independent announcement/backup/discussion of the Truth that has just been presented. With each yogi(ni) beginning and continuing to present Shri Mataji's full message individually as well as collectively, however, it will certainly be ever more likely that this vital knowledge and experience may indeed come to the attention of the vast public, not only through the hugely accessible and vitally important internet's adishakti.org sites but also through other powerful media that the public accesses daily such as radio, TV. In closing, I'd like to say that it's been an outstanding, reaffirming experience for me to have met so many seekers who have been told the full Truth - a wonderful experience for all of us to continue to look forward to. Guest guest
Dear Gerlinde, Violet and All, i congratulate you on your courage in presenting the full message of Sahaja Yoga upfront to the public. It was your conscience and consciousness that led you to solutions, a firm belief that has been tested by me many times over i.e., the Holy Spirit/Devi will always find solutions for you if your desire is pure. Thus this makes perfect sense to me: " Internally I soon began chafing at the implied, restrictive expectations I felt within the collective and with the discovery of adishakti.org I realized my uneasiness was well-founded. " as i had _always insisted_ that we, as Self-realized souls, must be honest upfront ........ a tenacity that first irritated and then angered the local collective and world leaders as well. Then in December 1999, at the eve of the millennium, i decided to go ahead and put the entire SHRI ADI SHAKTI: THE KINGDOM OF GOD online. The uproar and fear among leaders (most of whom are/were in WCASY) shocked me. i became speechless, ashamed and weakened by the tsunami of ignorance, cowardice and negativity (in that corresponding order i.e., speechless=ignorance). All i saw around me was a spiritual dump no different from the religious wastelands. i decided not to budge but fight tooth and nail ...... and the Holy Spirit/Devi was more than willing to help. Today we have the best sites proclaiming the Advent and Divine Message of Her incarnation. We also have Shri Mataji's 2008 Guru Puja explicit and unprecedented freedom to spread Sahaja Yoga as we see fit, even having our own organizations! Thus i am also interested as to how you go about convincing seekers to get their Self-realization in public, which i believe is the more crucial and difficult of the task. This is an area i am unfamiliar with and wish to get more details so that others can also use your method and materials. If you need help in scanning and putting them online i am sure " sahaja_joga " <pure.faith108, who too wants to help spread the full message of Sahaja Yoga upfront, will be more than willing to help you. Gerlinde, i also wish to draw your attention on the latest web rankings of 20 March 2009: Adishakti.org has a traffic rank of: 260,076 (Previous 625,303) Adishakti.org users come from these countries: United States 40.7% India 21.8% Canada 4.7% Indonesia 3.5% Philippines 1.9% http://www.alexa.com/data/details/main/adishakti.org Canada, Indonesia and Philippines are among the top five. i am sure your contributions count. But how did Indonesia and Philippines, with so little internet penetration, register that high? There have to be others working quietly behind the scene in these countries, and presenting the full message of Sahaja Yoga upfront. Maybe they can make further gains from your presentations. Thanks. The latest web rankings is evidence that the upfront approach by a handful of us is working much better than the collective effort of tens of thousands trying to spread their SYSSR. The few approaching the public with the full message are also experiencing the same positive results. Gerlinde, we should also not forget that www.adishakti.org encourages/insists that seekers continue on their own after establishing the Cool Breeze. Today we are setting a trend that is years/decades ahead! " Jesus solemnly assures the disciples that they will, in the future, perform even greater miracles than He. By this He means to say that through the power of the Holy Spirit, they will bring about the greatest miracle of all – the salvation of lost souls. He promises them that whatever they ask for, in connection with their ministry of bringing the miracle of salvation to lost men, will be granted them. " It is all going to work out as was eschatologically promised! The greatest miracle of all is nothing but human evolution. We are years /decades ahead in declaring a future trend and accepted knowledge! regards to all, jagbir -- Dear Gerlinde and All, I am absolutely thrilled with everything you describe and the response you have received is fantastic! i love the natural way in which you are presenting the full message of Sahaja Yoga, with the use of various items of interest displayed on your table which become 'talking points' leading to Self-realization if the person in their freedom wishes to have it. i like the fact that there is no 'pat formula' but that you are just giving it from your Self. Guest guest
Dear Violet, Jagbir and All, In this forum message I'll address some of the materials put together for the public, whether it is something I use/have available in a World Religions class setting and/or the individual public at a Fair, Service club ... The following is the very simple pamphlet which can be easily done on Excel and 'updated' as time goes on, if desired. For example, whereas the initial title on my pamphlet was only Sahaja Yoga " spontaneous union " , given Jagbir's recent important title update on the adishakti site which reflects with great relevance what the site/Shri Mataji's message is all about, I prefer " Divine Feminine Adi Shakti The Kingdom of God " . If desired, however, as per your own discretion, Sahaja Yoga " spontaneous union " might also be placed below the main heading or..... One advantage of this simple pamphlet is that it can be placed four to a page for use in large numbers of printed copies or two to a page if larger copies are needed. I've also used this sometimes as one main page in colour placed directly on the table for prominent display of the full truth at a glance. For me these four quotes give the profound essence of what we're trying to convey to the public within usually a very limited amount of time, but an essence which hopefully spurs on further search via the adishakti.org sites and even more likely once the participant has also experienced Kundalini awakening. 1)Pamphlet: DIVINE FEMININE ADI SHAKTI THE KINGDOM OF GOD Sahaja Yoga " spontaneous union " " You cannot know the meaning of your life until you are connected to the power that created you. " -Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi " Declare to all the nations now that I am the Holy Ghost and I have come for this Special Time, that is, the Resurrection Time. " -Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi PHOTO OF SHRI MATAJI NIRMALA DEVI with Her name underneath Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi " These are the times described in the Holy Bible as the Last Judgment and in the Koran as Qiyamah - the Resurrection Time. Astrologically it is also called the Age of Aquarius, the Time of Rebirth and of great spiritual development on the Earth. " -Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi " In between Jesus Christ and His destroying Incarnation of Mahavishnu called as Shri Kalki, there is a time given to human beings to rectify themselves, for them to enter into the Kingdom of God, which in the Bible is called as Last Judgment. " -Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi http://www.adishakti.org http://www.adi-shakti.org http://www.holyspirit-shekinah.org http://www.al-qiyamah.org http://www.great-spirit-mother.org http://www.aykaa-mayee.org http://great-spirit-mother.org http://www.tao-mother.org 2)The Religions chart with brief points of further reference So far, I've been unable to produce this copy in readable form on the forum, but I'm sure something can be worked out yet. 3) For classes I'll use a portion of the following as time permits, to introduce the fact that there are many similarities found in religions. This can be expanded on very specifically with the religions chart/heart centre where resides the Spirit.. later on. a) HEAVEN IS WITHIN The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you. Christianity What the undveloped man seeks is outside, what the advanced man seeks is within himself. Confucianism If you think the Law is outside yourself, you are embracing not the absolute Law but some inferior teaching. Buddhism God bides hidden in the hearts of all. Hinduism Why wilt thou go into the jungles? What do you hope to find there? Even as the scent dwells within the flower, so God within thine own heart ever abides. Seek Him with earnestness and find Him there. Sikhism b) MAN IS CREATED IN GOD'S IMAGE God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him. Judaism The individual soul is nothing else in essence than universal soul. Hinduism On God's own nature has been molded man's. Islam God is concealed in every heart, His light is in every heart. Sikhism Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of god dwelleth in you. Christianity c)KNOW THY SELF SOCRATES (great for Philosophy classes) First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. Christianity He who knows others is discerning; he who knows himself is wise. Taoism The faults of others we see easily, our own are very difficult to see. Our neighbour's faults we winnow eagerly as chaff from grain, our own we hide away as a cheat hides a losing roll of the dice. Buddhism They who quarrel with others, instead of quarreling with their own hearts, waste their lives. Sikhism If you love others, and affection is not reurned, look into your love. if you rule others, and they are unruly, look into your own wisdom. If you treat others politely and they do not return your politeness, look into your respect. If your desires are not fulfilled, turn inward and examine yourself. Confucianism Reference: Oneness - Great Principles shared by all Religions - by Jeffrey Moss 4) Some material gathered to connect Sahaja Yoga with Muslims using their terminolgy: a) Jagbir's info from the forum: He (You) will need the Baptism of Allah(surah 2:138)so that he can take part in Al-Qiyamah (surah 75:1-40), as it is indeed Al Qadr, the Night of Power (surah 97:1-5)...and that this Great News (78:1-5 Al Naba') has been delivered by His Ruh prophesied to collect, promulgate, recite, and explain Allah's (SWT) command to commence and witness the Resurrection. Fatima, Mary and the Divine Feminine in Islam at http://www.sol.com.au/kor/22 02.htm especially: A Sufi Ode to the Divine Mother On the face of the earth there is no one more beautiful than You Wherever I go I wear Your image in my heart Whenever I fall in a despondent mood I remember Your image and my spirit rises a thousand fold Your Advent is the blossom time of the Universe O Mother You have showered Your choicest blessings upon me Also remember me on the Day of Judgment I don't know if I will go to heaven or hell But wherever I go, please always abide in me. " That Day shall We set a seal on their mouths, but their hands will speak to us, and their feet bear witness, to all that they did. " Koran, Chapter XXXVI.Verse 65 Sura Yasin 5) printed copy from adishaki.org site of the many Shri Mataji quotes concerning Her identity and Resurrection, Last Judgment. 6) Already mentioned is the drawing of Kuan Yin I obtained at a Chinese New Year Festival I attended a number of times, in which the symbol of the Kundalini/Holy Spirit/Kuan Yin at Sahasrara is shown. I find this is especially awesome when just-realized seekers/volunteers at the festival understand the significance of that feminine figure. In a setting such as a Chinese New Year's Festival there are many intriguing ways in which to initiate a 'Sahaj'conversation - such as what has just been mentioned re Kuan Yin..or, the lion dance can relate to Shri Durga's vehicle, as can the dragon/serpent to Kundalini, Buddha, Maitreya, visiting/wanting to visit China, India ... Guest guest
Dear Gerlinde, Jagbir, and All, Thank you so much for this information, Gerlinde, and that you are happy to share your method and materials with us. It is such a great help that you have experimented and can now share with us the experience and information that you have gained. It will be a great starting base for others who also wish to publicly and upfront, present the full message of the Divine Feminine, Adi Shakti, Kingdom of God. (You really must congratulate yourself on spearheading this most important of efforts!) To learn how to present Sahaja Yoga in a new way, will be a learning process for all of us. And of course, a vital part of this process is to have the tools we need such as a satisfactory complement of pamphlets/charts/information, etc. Your 'Presentation Table' is of 'particular' interest to me--and this is how you describe it: " My table is replete with a picture of Shri Mataji (to which the attention is drawn), pamphlets with four Shri Mataji quotes and the adishakti.org URLs, together with sample material from Taoism, Buddhism, The Advent and/or Meta Modern Era, Search for the Divine Mother, a large picture of Kuan Yin with a feminine form shown at Sahasrara - something I point out when time permits to people who've just felt the vibrations at Sahasrara. " (1) Okay--so you have a table which has a Photo of Shri Mataji on it to which a person's attention can be drawn, but there is no candle placed directly in front of the Photo nor is there any incense being burned, but a nicely scented candle can be burning elsewhere on the table. And, this is sensitive to the Western mindset that often feels uncomfortable or ill at ease when faced with an obvious Eastern-looking 'Altar Table'. (2) While we are on the topic of a 'Presentation Table', could you please take a photo of your preferred 'Presentation Table', or do a depiction of it (but i would prefer a photo) so that we would have a suitable Visual Aid to which we can refer to yogis in future, who wish to work with us. Also, do you use a tablecloth and if so, what kind? Would a pretty cotton floral one be preferable over a heavily incensed Indian one...again being sensitive to the Western mindset. (3) Also--you have a pamphlet on the table with a Main Heading, Sub-Heading, four (4) quotes from Shri Mataji, Her picture, and the adishakti.org URLs: --- [beginning of Sample Pamphlet] --- > DIVINE FEMININE ADI SHAKTI THE KINGDOM OF GOD > > Sahaja Yoga > " spontaneous union " > > " You cannot know the meaning of your life until you are connected to the power that created you. " -Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi > > " Declare to all the nations now that I am the Holy Ghost and I have come for this Special Time, that is, the Resurrection Time. " -Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi > > > > PHOTO OF SHRI MATAJI NIRMALA DEVI with Her name underneath > > Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi > > > > " These are the times described in the Holy Bible as the Last Judgment and in the Koran as Qiyamah - the Resurrection Time. Astrologically it is also called the Age of Aquarius, the Time of Rebirth and of great spiritual development on the Earth. " -Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi > > " In between Jesus Christ and His destroying Incarnation of Mahavishnu called as Shri Kalki, there is a time given to human beings to rectify themselves, for them to enter into the Kingdom of God, which in the Bible is called as Last Judgment. " -Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi > > > http://www.adishakti.org > > http://www.adi-shakti.org > > http://www.holyspirit-shekinah.org > > http://www.al-qiyamah.org > > http://www.great-spirit-mother.org > > http://www.aykaa-mayee.org> > > http://www.tao-mother.org ---- [Ending of Sample Pamphlet] ---- (Please Note: There were 2 URLs for http://www.great-spirit-mother.org so i deleted one of them.) (4) Okay--continuing on, Gerlinde, you say that: " Available too is a chart I've put together of some religions together with interconnecting headings such as the Divine Feminine/Mother, Union with the Divine, Kingdom of God, The Age, Tree of Life, Proof of one's awakening as in 'wind, breath'... This can all be seen very easily at one glance for those who like to see an overview of Sahaja Yoga/Divine Feminine and the religions' interconnections. I've used this also in World Religions classes, since it also has brief quotes/explanations at the bottom section. " /message/10676 Both Jagbir and i have now seen this chart and it is an excellent tool for highlighting the equivalents/similarities in the different religions. As you say, there are still some gaps of comparative religion where we need to try and fill in the appropriate terminology, and with our collective effort and attention on this, we can complete this to the best of our ability and knowledge. It would be great if " sahaja_joga " <pure.faith108 could scan the pamphlet and Religions Chart and put them on-line as Jagbir has suggested. (5) The Information Tips that Gerlinde has given for classes, could be another document to be put on the forum: ---- Beginning of Information Tips To Give Classes ---- > 3) For classes I'll use a portion of the following as time permits, to introduce the fact that there are many similarities found in religions. Guest guest
Dear All, Jagbir, if you cannot see anywhere to improve it, then it must be fine just as it is, since you have probably done the most research on religion of all of us! Thanks very much to " sahaja_joga " <pure.faith108@> for making it available on the forum! All that's left now is to find out how to print it off. Peter said he would try and help me with that. love to all, violet - , " jagbir singh " <adishakti_org wrote: > > > > Both Jagbir and i have now seen this chart and it is an excellent tool for highlighting the equivalents/similarities in the different religions. Guest guest
Dear Violet, Jagbir and All, For those who are new to this idea of presenting the full message of Sahaja Yoga upfront in diverse venues alone or with others, may I just say that being involved in passing along this gift of Self-Realization and Shri Mataji's full message to others thirsty for this knowledge and experience is truly miraculous. The experiences one encounters remain solidly in the heart. Here are some answers to your queries, Violet: (1) Okay--so you have a table which has a Photo of Shri Mataji on it to which a person's attention can be drawn, but there is no candle placed directly in front of the Photo nor is there any incense being burned, but a nicely scented candle can be burning elsewhere on the table. And, this is sensitive to the Western mindset that often feels uncomfortable or ill at ease when faced with an obvious Eastern-looking 'Altar Table'. [My particular table for public programs or classroom programs is not like an altar at all. It's really very simple, with a colourful tablecloth, (cotton is probably preferable, but I don't always have cotton) or several coordinating items on which Shri Mataji's 8 " x10 " photo is placed in the centre and other informative items placed more along the sides. I keep things more generalized rather than " Indian " or anything very specific to another culture. However, I think that's up to the individual to try out personally, depending where in the world he/she is located or their own preference. Most places do expect one to bring one's own tablecloth. It's better to find that out beforehand. Shri Mataji's photo is accompanied by a small candle usually since a candle tends to be connected with something spiritual. It remains unlit, both in schools and in the public venue since most places do not want a lit candle for safety concerns. Sometimes I omit the candle entirely. Incense is never used by me. The four-quotation pamphlets and adishakti.org URLs are given out to the newly Self-Realized as well as anyone/everyone interested. (6) The Kuan Yin Photo - Gerlinde, could we possibly also have a scan of the Kuan Yin Photo that you have. This would be a great 'talking point' as you say, and if we could scan it (if it is feasible) others could use it as you have suggested. [This photo, Violet, is already " plastic-wrapped " and about 11x14 " . Can this be scanned? I don't own a scanner, or know the first thing about scanning, but I could probably go to get it scanned somewhere, if that's viable. An aside: Today before passing around the Kuan Yin photo at the end of a school World Religions class, I asked the students to note what was pictured on top of Her head. Several responded they noted a feminine being and something that looked like flames or 'burning' surrounding Her. I proceeded to explain the flames/burning, as the " thousand petalled lotus (cool)and asked who recognized the term " tongues of flames " . One young girl knew that term as coming from the bible at Pentecost and so the understanding came about of the parallels here in Buddhism, the Bible, Sahasrara and what they just experienced coming from the fontanel. When I asked who did they think this feminine personage on top of Kuan Yin's head was - one young fellow knew right away, exactly who! - " The Mother " he said. Their teacher also got his Self-Realization! Regards, Gerlinde , " Violet " <violetubb wrote: > > Dear Gerlinde, Jagbir, and All, > > Thank you so much for this information, Gerlinde, and that you are happy to share your method and materials with us. It is such a great help that you have experimented and can now share with us the experience and information that you have gained. It will be a great starting base for others who also wish to publicly and upfront, present the full message of the Divine Feminine, Adi Shakti, Kingdom of God. (You really must congratulate yourself on spearheading this most important of efforts!) > > To learn how to present Sahaja Yoga in a new way, will be a learning process for all of us. Also, do you use a tablecloth and if so, what kind? Would a pretty cotton floral one be preferable over a heavily incensed Indian one...again being sensitive to the Western mindset. > > (3) Also--you have a pamphlet on the table with a Main Heading, Sub-Heading, four (4) quotes from Shri Mataji, Her picture, and the adishakti.org URLs: > > > --- > [beginning of Sample Pamphlet] > --- > > > DIVINE FEMININE ADI SHAKTI THE KINGDOM OF GOD > > > > Sahaja Yoga > > " spontaneous union " > > > > " You cannot know the meaning of your life until you are connected to the power that created you. Guest guest
Dear All, i have successfully printed off the Religions Chart and am very pleased with it. If anyone needs to know how to do it--once you open the Excel document: (1} Go to the Top-Left-Hand of the Screen (2) If you do not have a Quick-Print Icon displayed, there is a Drop-Down Box there, and you can select Quick-Print, which then comes up as an Icon. (3) Then just press Quick-Print. regards, violet , " Violet " <violetubb wrote: > > Dear All, > > Jagbir, if you cannot see anywhere to improve it, then it must be fine just as it is, since you have probably done the most research on religion of all of us! Guest guest
Dear Gerlinde, Jagbir, and All, i agree that " passing along this gift of Self-Realization " is truly miraculous and brings the most joy, which is why there is this interest in learning as much as we can from your experiences in presenting the full message of Sahaja Yoga, upfront. So, i will respond below: , " magdca " <gerlindesattler wrote: > > Dear Violet, Jagbir and All, > > For those who are new to this idea of presenting the full message of Sahaja Yoga upfront in diverse venues alone or with others, may I just say that being involved in passing along this gift of Self-Realization and Shri Mataji's full message to others thirsty for this knowledge and experience is truly miraculous. The experiences one encounters remain solidly in the heart. [There is no doubt about that! Nothing brings more joy!] > > > Here are some answers to your queries, Violet: > > (1) Okay--so you have a table which has a Photo of Shri Mataji on it to which a person's attention can be drawn, but there is no candle placed directly in front of the Photo nor is there any incense being burned, but a nicely scented candle can be burning elsewhere on the table. [Thanks, Gerlinde, for the further clarification about the tablecloth and the candle. So, the candle could be used as a symbol of 'the light' or enlightenment--even though it is not lit. That is a very good point!] > > > (6) The Kuan Yin Photo - Gerlinde, could we possibly also have a scan of the Kuan Yin Photo that you have. [Okay--i've done a little experiment, Gerlinde. i took a printout of the Religions Chart and put it inside a plastic sleeve and photocopied it. It came out perfectly. i also asked Peter if something laminated could be scanned and he said yes. So, if you can get it scanned somewhere somewhere that would be great. This photo of Kuan Yin depicting the 1000-petalled lotus/tongues of fire is, as you have discovered, a great Visual Aid]: > > An aside: > Today before passing around the Kuan Yin photo at the end of a school World Religions class, I asked the students to note what was pictured on top of Her head. [Thanks, Gerlinde, for relating the above happening in the school's World Religions class. We have covered quite a bit of practical material, tips and methods. Now--would you please describe your basic routine with regard to (a) a group and (b) an individual lined up at a Trade Fair, for example. As we are learning a new approach, how do you pass on the gift of Self-Realization. Could you please describe that part, especially. > > > > > > > > > > Warm regards, > > > > > Gerlinde > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Dear Gerlinde and All, > > > > > > > > I am absolutely thrilled with everything you describe and the response you have received is fantastic! i love the natural way in which you are presenting the full message of Sahaja Yoga, with the use of various items of interest displayed on your table which become 'talking points' leading to Self-realization if the person in their freedom wishes to have it. i like the fact that there is no 'pat formula' but that you are just giving it from your Self. > > > > > > > > The pamphlets of Shri Mataji's words, and of the different religions, and the chart you have made up are, i believe, just what's needed for others to see a way forward to giving the full message of Sahaja Yoga upfront. Would you be willing for these to be put on the forum somewhere where others could have access to them and print them off for their use, also? > > > > > > > > Could you please describe how you go through the giving of the Self-realization, that is, how do you do it for a Group as compared to giving Self-realization to the individual person lined up at a Trade Fair, for example. > > > > > > > > Thank you so much for all your innovations that you have shared with us! i hope it results in many more having the confidence to give the full message of Sahaja Yoga upfront in their local community. > > > > > > > > Warm regards, > > > > > > > > violet > > > > > > > > > >
