Guest guest
Dear All, 'Senior SYs' is a term of respect that is used in Sahaja Yoga as a term for yogis who have been in the organisation of Sahaja Yoga for a long time - meaning they have usually been there from the earliest days of their particular local collective and are full of knowledge for new sahajayogis, such as what Sahaja Yoga means, plus all the clearing and cleansing techniques. However, few 'senior yogis' to this day, have realised the Self in their fullness, as that subject is not stressed in the Sahaja Yoga organisation, though it has been stressed by Shri Mataji. Shri Mataji says 'all Sahaja Yogis are equal' in the sense that one should not think they are 'better' than others. This is true, because in reality we are part and parcel of 'the One Self' - which is the collectivity of Sahaja Yoga that goes beyond any local collective. A 'senior SY' will usually tell you, though, that to be truly collective one has to attend the organisation of Sahaja Yoga. He does not yet realize that there is a greater collectivity of saints, that goes beyond the local collective. (We have such a collectivity via the Gift of Shri Vishnumaya on this forum) but the leaders in Sahaja Yoga do not like this form of collectivity. They prefer the local collectivity, over which they have more power over sahajayogis and can tell them there, what to do. As far as the understanding of spiritual things goes, not all sahaja yogis are equal. That stands to reason, just as not all teachers, doctors, or lawyers are equal in the understanding of what they profess. So, some have more understanding than others. Once the SY has their initial connection, their kundalini awakening, that is when the real work begins. Some SYs luxuriate at that stage, concentrating on manually clearing and cleansing their chakras for the rest of their foreseeable future. Other yogis go deeper and are delighted to experience that the Kundalini energy has the power, the capability, to clear and cleanse them on a 24/7 basis. In that process, they also come to realize their Self - meaning that they don't just talk about Self-realization, they " know " it and can explain it in its fullness. This is the point at which they have achieved the spiritual deepening that allows them to progress from a sahajayogi to a mahayogi and prophet, which Shri Mataji encouraged sahajayogis to become. A hallmark of this deepening is that they have great confidence in talking about the Kingdom of God within to the seekers of the truth, as all the incarnations and prophets have done before them. regards to all, violet , Om Prakash Singh <akash_902003 wrote: > > Jai Shri Mataji > Dear Jagbir, > > Cool...Cool..Cool.
