I'm not religious anymore, and find it humorous that Christianity, as silly as it can be at times, also has these characters added to it's two major celebrations. Kinda adds insult to injury in my mind. Does anyone know when this easter egg tradition started, and why? Do any other major religions have this bonus fun added? For example... is there some sort of karma cow that visits you at night on Buddha's birthday, and squirts good luck milk in your face while you sleep to remind you to be nice to everyone, or else? I'm sure many hardcore Christians deny the blasphemous Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus, but how can a person really take a religion seriously when you have this out right craziness tied into such an important date for them?
