Both have exactly 94 NamaskaraNams and start off and end up with the styles that are also similar . Let us compare the beginnings and the end of the two Gadhyams . The Adhi VaNN SaThakOpa Gadhyam text is in paranthesis after the Raghu Veera Gadhyam Text : namO VaNN-SaThakOpaakhya guravE yathibhubhruthE RaamAnuja-siddhAntha nirdhAraNa paDeeyasE 1. Jaya Jaya MahA Veera ! ( Jaya Jaya Desika ! ) 2. MahA dheera dhourEya , Jaya Jaya ( MahA yOgi dhourEya , Jaya Jaya ) From here on the subject matters differ and the content of the two gadhyams take their own forms based on the dhivya charithams of Lord Raamachandran and Sri Adhi VaNN SaThakOpa Jeeyar respectively . The uniqueness of Sri Adhi VaNN SaThakOpa Gadhyam is the group of NaamAs from 30 to 78 , where his multifarious auspicous attributes are compared to those of DasAvathAra Moorthys, RaamAyaNam , Swamy NammAzhwAr , AchArya RaamAnuja , VedAntha Desikan and Maha Rishis . From naamAs 79 to 92 , Adhi vaNN SathakOpa Jeeyar's aathma guNams are further elaborated . The last two naamAs echo the naamAs of Sri MahA Veera Vaibhavam : 93. SrI Raamabhadhra ! ( akhila hEyaguNa VaidEsika !) Here , Sri Adhi vaNN SathakOpa Jeeyar is saluted as a Foreigner to all hEya guNams ( inauspicous guNams) . 94. namastE PunastE nama: ( SrimadhAdhivaNN SaThAri MahA Desika namastE namstE namstE ! ) . The gadhyam passages in between 10 to 29 are similar to Sri Raghuveera Gadhyam passages , which Swamy Desikan ( Kavi KaTaka Simham) described as " kaDOra SukumAra gumbha gambeeram = consisting of tough and soft beautiful padhams assembled together to house deep meanings) . One of the examples of the SukumAra gadhyam passage from AdhivaNN SaThakOpa Jeeyar is the 24th ChoorNikai : nija charaNa nalina samsritha vaidhika Saarvabhouma vidhvadhagrEsara smruthi-rathnAkara sudheevilOchana daSanirNaya pramukha dharma-SAsthra vishaya granTajAtha moolaka nithya naimitthika kaamya-karmAnushtEyathva prakAra vivEka laabha janitha santhOsha jaladhi samajjana sajjjana kalitha nuthi vachana mukharitha daSadiSaavakASa , Jaya Jaya ! Here, Reference is made to Vaidhika Saarvabhoumar , the title given to Thozhappar , a key disciple of HH Adhi vaNN SathakOpa Jeeyar . He was a great authority on Ahnikams ( Vaidhika SamskArAs ) and dharma saastrAs , Vedam and other areas . To channel the vast and authoritative knowledge of Thozhappar , HH Adhi vaNN SathakOpa Jeeyar requested Thozhappar to create 8 granthams . The one named Dasa NirNayam dealt with UpAkarmaa . Sudhee VilOchanam covered PithrumEdha SamskAram . The details on other granthams like Smruthi RathnAkaram based on dharma Saasthrams created for aasthikA's Nithya , Naimitthika and Kaamya KarmAs are covered in adiyEn's posting on Thozhappar / Vaidhika Saarvabhoumar. The 26th , 27 th pattam Azhagiya singars have written commentaries on Ahnika grantham . Prakrutham Azhagiya Singar has also blessed us with a revised and updated edition of the Ahnika Grantham , which is used for KaalakshEpam purposes at Sri Matam even today . During his current ChAthurmAsyam , Prakrutham Azhagiya Singar is updating the Ahnika Grantham . The 24th Choornikai starts with who Thozhappar is and what is his connection to Sri Adhi vaNN SaThakOpa Jeeyar : " nija charana nalina samsritha Vaidhika Saarvabhouma virachitha --- ( the compositions of Vaidhika Saarvabhouar , who had sought the refuge of the lotus feet of HH Adhi vaNN SaThakOpa Jeeyar) . What are the compositions of Vaidhika Saarvabhoumar , who was at the front of Vaidhika ghOshti ( Vaidhika Saarvabhouma virachitha Smruthi RathnAkara, Sudhee vilOchana , Dasa nirNaya et al) . These are authoritative determinations on Vaidhika anushtAnams rooted in Dharma Saasthrams (---dasa nirNaya pramukha dharma sAsthra vishaya grantha jaatha moolakam) . They helped to clarify all doubts about the correct way to perform nithya karmAs and Naimitthika karmAs and gain knowledge about those prakAram / ways ( nithya naimitthika kaamya karmAnushtEyathva prakAra vivEka laabham) . That gladdened the heart of Adhi vaNN SathakOpa Jeeyar. The aasthikAs/sajjanams were immersed in the ocean of santhOsham over gaining that prakAra vivEkam ( prakAra vivEka laabha janitha , santhOsha jaladhi samajjana sajjana ). Those aasthikAs , who profitted from the Ahnika granthams praised Thozhappar and that made HH the First Jeeyar very happy (Sajjana kalitha nuthivachana mukharitha dasa disAvakAsa ). The Adhi vaNN SaThakOpa gadhyam covers meticulously the many Vaibhavams of the Founding Jeeyar of Ahobila Matam . It is adiyEn's hope that this gadhyam finds extensive use in the celebration of the Thirunakshathram ( PurattAsi Kettai) of HH the First Jeeyar of Sri Matam , who was initiated in to SanyAsAsramam by Lord Narasimhan Himself at Ahobila dhivya dEsam .
