DADI-NANI ki KAHAANI- Shakun Narain ( A Grand maa tale ) We are her children and here is the story of Janmashtami

Krishna Is Born

Janmashtami, Krishna's Birthday is on the 27th of August, 26th midnight actually.

Krishna means the one who attracts (akarshit ati te Krishna).

Krishna's mother and father were Devki and Vasudev. Someone told Devki's brother Kamsa that Devki's 8th son, would kill him.

So Kamsa had Devki and her husband Vaasudev, put in jail.

Vaasudev and Devki remained patient while in jail.

God comes to those who can wait patiently…and Krishna came to them as their son and saviour! Would you like to read more? Click:

One day he was playing outside. He put His muddy hands into His mouth.

His Yashoda Maiya, got very upset and she asked little Krishna to open His mouth! Guess what she saw inside Krishna's mouth? The whole world! Not only did she see the planet, but the whole universe with all the stars and the Sun and the Moon! Yashoda Maiya saw all the continents in the world. All the oceans. All the forests. All the villages. She also saw Vraj, the village in which they lived. She also saw herself looking into Krishna's mouth! Read more:
