Can anybody help me with prayers and rituals while Ezhara Sani coming in to your life?

Dear Bijou,

 

There are some of which I suggest:

 

1) Fasting on Saturdays, wear black dress on Saturdays.

2) Propitiate Lord Ayyappa (like Sabarimala Darshanam, Ellukizhi on Saturdays during the whole period, donating a black silk cloth to Lord Ayyappa temple, Reciting Ayyappa Sahasranaamam atleast on Saturdays etc)

3) Propitiate Lord Siva (Rudrabhushekam, Samkhabhishekam, Koovala maala, recitation of Om Namah Sivaya atleast 10 mins every morning)

Recitation of Mritynjaya Mantram and Rudram Chamakam has special effect.

4) Charity, especially annadaanam.

5) Propitiate Lord Hanuman, Recite Hanuman Chalisa

and the like.

 

Basically the evils of ezhara shani (Sade Sathe or elarata as it’s called) depends on the strength and position of Saturn, the natal horoscope and Dasa running. Hence most people come through great miseries while for some it doesn’t affect much. In general, ezhara shani dosnt block the favourable natal influences. And it’s the first cycle which is bad, second not so bad, may even be good and the third cycle is supposed to cause death. And for 12th house transit any planet in the 3rd is Vedha. After seeing the horo, the remedies should be done accordingly, eventhen if things are very adverse by the highest kind of remedies the evils can only be reduced. The stories of shani affecting Lord Shiva, King Vikramaditya and the like verify this. In any case, everyone should always be devoted to their respective paradevata (dharma daivam) as Prashna Marga categorically states that if bharadevata blesses one, evenif all other devatas are adverse, the evils will be

reduced while otherwise evenif all other devetas are favourable, it cant be enjoyed.
