Guest guest
Namaste, I have no much clue to this, but did try to find out a bit on the web :www.purohith.com Purattathi Sani Saturn or Saniswaran is considered the most powerfull planet, especially so after having received the blessing of Lord Siva Himself. Being elevated, he not only gives misfortune and difficulties according to our Karma but also confers great blessing on individuals. In the month of Purattathi, the Saturdays are considered auspicious and one pays homage to Lord Saniswaran on all Saturdays in the month of Purattathi (September - October). First Saturday of Purattathi 17th September 2005 Second Saturday of Purattathi 24th September 2005 Third Saturday of Purattathi 1st October 2005 Fourth Saturday of Purattathi 8th October 2005 Fifth Saturday of Purattathi 15th October 2005 Devotees can light sesame lamps for Saniswara Bahavaan at any time throughout the whole day. However, when Navaraathri festival befalls on Saturdays, devotees are requested to refrain from lighting sesame lamps on those days. , Anuratha Damothran <anurai58@g...> wrote: > What does one need to do when observing the Purattathi Sani over a > period of 5 Saturdays?...
