The place is now known as Kollur, but formerly known as Maharajapuram Kolhapur. Goddess Durga is in Padmasana. There are five rivers flowing and the most important one river Soubarnica flowing from the Western Ghats. Vishnu, Maheshwara, Maha Kali Brahma MahaLakshmi, Mahasaraswathi are all manifested in one Lingam and the place is known as Saptha Mahakshetra. The below Link is a must to be Visited.
