Lord Shri Mahavishnu took Shri Krishna avatar to destroy unrighteousness, to enforce dharma and to show the grace of His divinity to the world. All His leelas can be found in the Mahabaratham and Sri Mad Bhagavatham. Devotees consider Shri Krishna as Lord Mahavishnu's poorna avatar.
