Guest guest
Namaste, As we are all aware ther are many many Mantras in the world, some familiar and some are not, SOme are big and some are small, some for daily use and just one which suits us better and more Powerful than the rest. I would like to help one to the easiest step of Chanting a MANTRA out of the millions that we are aware of. Firstly start by thinking of a solution for a particular problem which your goodself would like to release the pain and sorrow and worries Ask for God's blessing in accomplishing your objective in doing this spiritual discipline by offering prayers to God in what ever way you feel that God is there. Once you have decided to undertake the discipline and offered your prayers, then pick a place where you will say your mantra for a certain number of times each day. If possible, obtain a Maala of some kind and do your mantras in some multiple of 108. If getting a Maala is not possible, then decide on a certain amount of time you will spend each day saying your mantra. For your first experience, any time up to twenty minutes is advisable. Commitment is due to the cumulative action of the mantra. On a daily basis of 40 days to begin with. For the first few days, all will probably go smoothly. Then as you progress, you may find that things start to get in the way of your doing the discipline: You develope laziness and mind say its ok I will do it later or evn postpone for few housr, there is some minor emergency; you are not well etc. This means that you are beginning to effect the inner 'something' for which you undertook the mantra. You are beginning to encounter inner resistance. That inner resistance manifests as outer obstacles to your discipline. It has almost become a joke in many spiritual circles in which the practice of mantra is common, that something of a very surprising nature happened on day 33 or 35 of a 40 day sadhana. It has happened to many others. There is no better indication that your efforts are working than to have small upheavals in your life while you are in the midst of a 40 day mantra discipline which I am sure many of us had encountered in our life or past life. I now end the above , hopeing that my topic would help one to Prosper in Life and also hopeing that your Problems, Sorrows diminshes in time as Nothing is Impossible . All we need is a bit of Time Management here. For a small fact to share about me. I have been very eager to learn Mantra but my pronounciation is bad as ever but deep with inn me i know Devi is listening to me as its not the words but the Faith that I have in my prayers are more than any Mantra to compare with that I am aware of today in life. Guest guest
Namasthe May MA bless us all. I went through the article written by you about mantra. Ya it is true. Ma expects only the true love and affection from us. and that is the one and only thing which we can give to Her.Love with respect is bakthi. If we have only love sometime we will take undue advantage in Her. If we have only respect we will stand little away from Her. So if we have the both we will enjoy Her nearness but at the same time our respect towards Her will fetch more Karuna from Her. "MANTHIRAM" in tamil MAN means to know(arithal) THIRAM means to save(Kaththal). So mantras helps us to know the God and will save us. Pronounciation is an important thing for mantra uchadana and it will be difficult for few people. So the best mantra is AMMA. everybody can call Her by chanting the 'Nama' ' AMMA' will get the same results. Sri Lalitha Sahasranama has thousand namas but Starts with the NAma "AUM SRI MATHRE NAMAHA." So let us call Her with so much of love As AMMA which is the best amongst all the Mantras Jai MA Ever in the service of Goddess Sri Gomathidos siddhabalapeetam/ - babitha70 Tuesday, July 24, 2007 12:16 PM Get Started Namaste,As we are all aware ther are many many Mantras in the world, some familiar and some are not, SOme are big and some are small, some for daily use and just one which suits us better and more Powerful than the rest.I would like to help one to the easiest step of Chanting a MANTRA out of the millions that we are aware of.Firstly start by thinking of a solution for a particular problem which your goodself would like to release the pain and sorrow and worries Ask for God's blessing in accomplishing your objective in doing this spiritual discipline by offering prayers to God in what ever way you feel that God is there.Once you have decided to undertake the discipline and offered your prayers, then pick a place where you will say your mantra for a certain number of times each day.
