Hi all,

 

 

I need the complete verse of these two mantras

 

1.Gayatri Ghanapatha Mantra

2.Ganesha Ghanapatha Mantra

 

Ghanapatha Mantra-means reciting the mantra in reverse order.This is

told to have effective power.I need it in either in tamil or in

english.

Please let me know if you come across them.

Dear Mr. Muthu,

Ghanapatha Mantra is not chanting the mantra in reverse order. It involves splitting the Vedha Samhitha Mantra word by word (Padham) and arranging all the Padhas (words) in a unique pre-defined combination. The combination formulae goes like this :

Suppose If a mantra contains three words say " 1 " " 2 " and " 3 "

Ghanapatha Mantra of the above will be :

" 1 2 2 1 1 2 3 3 2 1 1 2 3 "

Suppose If a mantra contains four words say " 1 " " 2 " " 3 " and " 4 "

Ghanapatha Mantra of the above will be of two parts :

" 1 2 2 1 1 2 3 3 2 1 1 2 3 " < 1 2 3>

and

" 2 3 3 2 2 3 4 4 3 2 2 3 4 " < 2 3 4> => Here 2 will become 1, 3 will become 2 and 4 will become 3. It takes lot of effort to transliterate Ghanapatha into Tamil / English, but if we read the Transliterate Text (either in Tamil / English), there is a possibility of Swara / Shabdha Bhedham (eg., Gha, Bha, Pa, Dha, Da, Ga). You can get books from Ramakrishna Math for the mantras which you've asked, but you consult a learned Vedic Pandit for transliterating it to either Tamil / English with Swara / Shabdha Marking.
