Namaste, I do not know why but I am surprised that many members who are close and dear to me has not even posted a single email not as contribution to the group but to share your feelings and also to your prayers being answered by Amma, and to my surprise I am sure that many of us have remarkable experience in life as in Dreams or visual or even being with AMMA. I donot know why but i feel that this email is not come from me but requested by Amma through me. Please correct me if i am wrong but yet donot stop shareing Amma's blessings. Pranam, Babitha

Hi Babitha,

I would like to share a wonderful gesture of Love and affection that

Amma showed on me recently.

I recently bought a DSLR Camera and am learning to take pictures

with it.

Im a beginner in Photography and i go around with my camera whereever

i go in Singapore. And i visited my usual temple where there is an

Idol of Mariamma, that day i saw that they were having Chandi Homam

and i was very much interested in taking some pictures.

Mainly bcos i like the resplendent look in the idol.

but i was showed away by the authorities saying that pictures were

not allowed. With a dejected look, i proceeded to go away, but i

bought some offerings for her and was standing in queue to offer in

the homam. But in my heart i had a prayer, was talking to her saying

i would love to take pictures of this honour thats being

done to you, with this new camera, but these people are not allowing

me...And was sort of lost looking at the Kalash and the homam (Now

all this is happening in a shamiana outside next to the temple) by

the time i reached the homa kundam, one gentleman approached me, and

asked me if i take pictures...i said i just came for pooja, but i

would like to take pictures...then he contemplated for a moment and

asked me just one question - Will you give a copy to the temple also?

I gladly said YES!

Then i was overwhelmed by the sequence of events that followed...

He took me aside, introduced to the temple authorities and said, he

is the Temple Photographer he has volunteered to take Pics for our

temple!!! I was dumbfound at that gesture.

Immediately the whole scene changed, i was escorted like a VIP around

all the happenings, where one guard would ask people to move so that

i could take pictures. This was such a display of Love and affection

from the mother!!

Hold on the best part is yet to come. After the Homam was over,

they were taking the Kalash inside to keep it in ammas main

prakaram...i was given a seat on the floor right in front of the

mother..with just about 2 metres of seperation between us...

And was asked to take pictures...Trust me, i sat there like a

stone..they were doing alankarams, doing Abhishekam etc, and people

around me screaming Om Shakthi!! some of them went into a trance..

and i just could not move my finger to click the shoot button! I was

probably in a trance myself overwhelmed by the opportunity and the

closeness to mother!! And then one lady came up to me, and said..

" Looks like you are missing the best shots, pls shoot so that we can

all enjoy this occasion "

Now this was even more overwhelming..i just obeyed like a Robot and

kept firing...thats all i remember.

 

To some this might sound like a matter of Pure coincidence, and might

not be a big affair.

But to me that day i felt like Amma was showering her complete love

and affection.

Look at the sequence of events -

1. I am being asked to leave the place because i was DISTURBING them.

2. The same people escort me around and give me such a coveted

position in front of Amma.

Im not saying this in Pride, but highlighting how she can shower her

love on you in an instant.

And on top of this, for every function, i will be asked to

participate and shoot. Isnt that heights of compassion?

 

Think about it...what am i? what do i know of photography? i am just

playing with my new toy, and then she calls me and says - " Be my

Official Photographer " how will you feel?

 

That day i felt like she was a Model in front of me, smiling away

giving me different poses.

 

If you have a true and valid wish in your heart and place it in front

of her without any forbearance of result, she will do what is right

for you.

Hi Babitha Madam,We feel so sorry for not making this mission as active as earlier. We would like to know your vacation/trip to kollur mookambika during this august/september and we would feel happy to share your experience too.From my side, I have planned to go to Mookambika Temple for this year during november 2nd week 2007 and this is my 5th continues year to visit the temple. Since I am living abroad and I recently changed my job I was thinking that I wouldn't be able to make this year, but by the grace of Kollur Mookambika I am able to make it and I have booked the ticket too.
