Guest guest
Devi Saranam. Fellow devotees have been asking about hotels in Kollur. Unlike earlier, Kollur has developed a lot during the past 5 - 6 years and is still growing in terms of physical infrastructure. You may find the following places suitable for stay with your families: (The STD code used to be 08254 but I am informed that now the 4 has been replaced by 2; in case you have problems in getting through, please also try with a 4 after the 0825). - Souparnika Guest House (owned by temple) - Yatri Nivas - Bhageerathi Tourist Home - Sri Sankara Kripa (owned by Sringeri Sri Sankaracharya Madom) - Devi Kripa (0825 2758274 or 2758374) of KPK Tourist Home - Yamuna Vihar Tourist Home (Phone: 0825 2758229) In addition to above, there are plenty of guest houses owned and run by the temple priests in Kollur. If you have enough time on hand, please drop a letter in advance to any of the above guest houses in the following address: (Guest House Name) P.O. Kollur Udupi Dist. Karnataka - 576 220 For booking at the temple guest house, you may also call the Temple office directly (phone: 0825 2758521, Executive Officer: 0825 2758221). Telephone enquiries about poojas etc. also will be entertained on 0825 2758521. You may also contact one of the following Archakas (Priests) regarding your stay or for arranging poojas for you: Sri Ramakrishna Joishi Phone: 0825 2758214 / 2758314 Sri Manjunath Adiga Phone: 0825 2758458 / 2758302 Sri Moorthi Kalidas Bhat Phone: 0825 2758215 / 2758415 Sri Radhakrishna Adiga Phone: 0825 2758386 I suggest that instead of paying a hectic visit to Kollur (like most of us do with other temples), you take your time and plan for at least two days' stay at the place in order to get a feel of Sri Devi's abundant blessings, both spiritual and mundane.
