Swamigal hails from an illustrious lineage of Jagad guru PARAMAHAMSA sri siva chidanandha saraswathi mouna swamigal and Yuga purusha sree vishvanandha bharathi buvaneshwari paramahamsa swamigal. Both his gurus were great siddhas of their time.
