Sri Adi Sankara Sewa Trust, Lucknow has been running the Vedic

Karmakand Pathsala in rented premises since 5th June 2001, with

strength of 45 students besides supporting staff.

The Vedic Pathsala has been struggling in rented premises at Lucknow

all these years.

 

It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that with the Grace

showered by Almighty Lord Chandramouleeswara & Goddess Kamakshi and

extensive financial assistance from Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Sankaracharya

Peetam, Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu, we have been able to acquire a plot

of land admeasuring 26000 sq. ft. approximately at Bakshi-ka-Talab on

the Main Sitapur Road in the outskirts of Lucknow.

 

The holy river Gomati and the well-known Sri Chandrika Devi Temple

are 9 kms away from our site. The holy kshetra Sri Naimisharanyam

where Sri Lalitha Shakiti Peetam is situated is approx. 60 kms away

from our proposed Pathasala complex Devotees may be aware that

Kanpur (80 kms.), Ayodhya (140 kms.), Allahabad (170 kms.), Varanasi

(200 kms.) and other holy places are located around 200 kms. distance

from Lucknow.

 

Most generous philanthropist families in Lucknow have assured to

financially assist us in construction of Vedic Pathasala, Temple,

Library, Gowsala, Out Patient Clinic, Old Age Home and Yatri Niwas

especially for the convenience of pilgrims undertaking visits to holy

places in and nearby Lucknow, as outlined above.

 

In fact, we have already started construction activities like fencing

with gates and digging of a bore well etc. It requires many a drop

to make a Talab/river/ocean flow with water which in turn would

create and foster new life for generations to come. To put in simple

words, we require large funds to meet recurring day-to-day expenses

for all the proposed activities enumerated herein above.

 

We therefore fervently appeal to devotees and well wishers like you

to participate in this most noble cause by way of making liberal

contributions in cash and kind and get the blessings of Ved Mata.

 

Contributions will be accepted by crossed local cheque/demand draft

in favor of SRI ADI SANKARA SEWA TRUST, LUCKNOW payable at Lucknow
