By Gods grace, I have planned to visit Sringeri, Kollur and Uduppi during this Navarathri time and the opinions from our experienced group members about the plan. My travel plan is as follows: Leaving Chennai on 01.10.2008 (Wednesday) and reaching Shimoga on 02.10.2008 (Thursday). I have already made arrangements for Navarathri Pooja at Sringeri Sharadhambal temple on 03.10.2008 (Friday). So, I want to be at Sringeri on 02.10.2008 by 6 PM. On 02.10.2008 I like to have the darshan of Sri Mookambika also. I request our esteemed members to help me how to plan the visit. (a) Shimoga to Kollur to Sringeri or (b) Shimoga to Sringeri to Kollur? Pl. let me know the best option. I leave Sringeri on 03.10.2008 (Saturday) morning and going to Udupi. After the darshan at Udupi, will go to Mangalore and return to Chennai on 05.10.2008 (Sunday) afternoon. I have planned to arrange for a vehicle from Shimoa to Mangalore for three days. If possible, Pl. let me know the distance between (1) Shimoga & Kollur (2) Kollur & Sringeri (3) Sringeri & Udupi (4) Udupi & Mangalore and (5) Sringeri & Mangalore If there are any other better options, Pl . let me know. The best is first to Visit Manglore -- Udipi Lord Krishna and then to on the way to Kumbashee if you have time. First Kollur as its Navratri Time there will be special Pooja just as anywhere else. You can go to Sringeri the next day and be back the same day to kollur so you can stay at kollur and visit Sringeri and be back to Kollur the same day and than return. As sringeri is also not so farawy from kollur you can have a pleasant journey. While your stay please do Pray for all and as we all Know Amma will never let us down and amma will also guide us and keep us all under ammas blessings.
