According to Bharatheeya Callender this universe is 196 Crore year old

2 Ayanam = 1 Year

1 Year = 1 Deva day

360 year = 1 Divya varsha

Kritha yuga = 4800 Divya varsha = 17,28,000 years

Thretha Yuga = 3600 Divya vrasha = 12,96,000 years

Dwapara yuga = 2400 Divya varsha = 864,000 years

Kaliyug = 1200 Divya varsha = 432,000 years

(kitha + thretha + Dwapara + kali ) = Chathur yug = Mahayugam

71 Mahayug = 1 Manwantharam ( Now 7th Manwantharam )

14 Manwantharam = 1 Kalapam

2 Kalpam = 1 Brahma Divasam

360 Brahma Divasam = 1 Brahma varasham

50 Brahma varasham = 1 Parardam

2 parardam = 1 Mahakalpam (maha Pralayam)

our thrudi is 16 times minutest than 1 second ( thamara dala cheda kalam)

In this Kalpa it is now 7 th Manwantharam

7 th manu is called vaivaswatha Manu

in this manwantharam 27 chathur yuga has passed

it is now the 28 th chathuryuga going on

it is now the 28 th kali yug of vaivaswatha manwantharam

in this kaliyug 5110 years have gone and now it is 5111

Some comparison with christian callender

1) Christmas is on 25th but New year is on january 1st

2) In 1739 Pope Grgorey decided it is to Sept 14 th after sept 2nd

hence that 11 days passed in 24 hours

3) another intersting fact is Roman Callender only had 10 months

later Julious ceaser added July and Augustus added August

September = Saptha = 7

October = Ashta = 8

November = Nava = 9

December = Dasha = 10

4) Whole world celebrated the Yugadi before Pope converted new year to

January Solid proof of that is the Financial year 31/march to

1st April

5) English Callender dosen't have any connection with the Sun and Moon
