Maha Saraswati MahaSaraswati is the personification of the Sattvic aspect of Devi. She is the force of creation of the entire universe. She is the Sakti or the power of Brahma. She is the very force, of work, order and organization. Without her blessings, there would be chaos in the universe. MahaSaraswati is radiant, sparkling and bright. She is the ultimate embodiment of beauty and physical perfection. She is depicted as having eight hands. In Her hands, She bears a pestle, a trishul, a ploughshare, a conch, a bow & arrow, a bell and a discus.

 

Maha Lakshmi MahaLakshmi is the personification of the Rajasic aspect of Devi. She is formed out of the combined energies and powers of all the Gods. She is the force of preservation of the entire universe and She destroys anyone, who opposes the cosmic law. In Her is embodied the powers and the urge to fight evil, in every form. MahaLakshmi is the Sakti or the power of Vishnu and also His consort. MahaLakshmi is portrayed as being red in colour, like coral and having eighteen hands. In Her hands, She bears a rosary, an axe, a mace, an arrow, thunderbolt, a lotus, a bow, a pitcher, a rod, sakti, a sword, a shield, a conch, a bell, a wine-cup, a trishul, a noose and the Sudarshan chakra.She is also portrayed seated on a lotus.

 

Maha Kali MahaKali is the personification of the Tamasic aspect of Devi. She is the force of dissolution of the entire universe. MahaKali personifies the power of time and at the same time, She represents that state, where time, space and causation have ceased to exist. MahaKali bounds the universe with a web of Maya or illusion, She is the very embodiment of Maya. It is only when she withdraws this Maya from the eyes of Her devotees, that his soul progresses along the spiritual path. MahaKali is portrayed as being deep blue in colour, like the blue sapphire. She is portrayed as having ten hands. In Her hands, She bears a conch, a human head, a sword, a lance, a discus, a mace, a bow, an arrow, a sling and an iron club.
